Hello great people, it's nice to be here again and i trust we are all doing good.

Today i will be discussing on a topic: I wasn't Informed as we see details below:

What do you understand by being "informed" "uninformed "partially informed", misinformed?

We'll be looking at all the information above, one after another to bring out its meaning.

Being Informed

When you look at the word " Informed", it represent past tense in a sentence. Now being informed is a scenario where one already has a knowledge of a particular event that is about to take place in the future. This will take place if for instance you met with someone who had no knowledge about that information about the coming event, you can tell that you were informed or had been informed concerning the event that is coming up. By so doing, you have just inform another person about the event. Note this might not be that its still at the future, the event could had past but you forgot to attend, which you were properly informed.

Uninformed

Uninformed is just the reverse of informed. Uninformed is a scenario where an important thing or event took placed without your noticed.

This means that you didn't have idea concerning that event.

Partially informed

Partially informed is a situation where you only got a news but not from the right source. For example: if your Son want to get married to his wife, then he sent the wife to go and tell her father in-law, about their marriage coming up, this is partially informed. Note this can also bring disappointment.

Misinformed

If a particular date of an event is being fixed, and you misinterpreted that date that was fixed, that is misinformation. This is not limited to date alone but also the venue can make you to get angry when there is misinformation.

Which of the category above was your experience?

My experience among the listed experience above was that of Partially Informed.

I'm a photographer and do cover's events of all kinds. One day, i met one of the guys i had done work for! Immediately he met me, he called me and said to me Justice Media, i want you to come and cover my dedication and he gave me the date and the church. This was two months before the event proper.

One month left, we saw each other and he said, "hope you are still informed of the date" ? I said yes. I then asked him for an advance for the job, but he said before then, he will give me something. This is to make me have full confidence of doing the job.

3 days to the dedication, i met him. He says that is shouldn't worry about the money, that i should just come and do it while we select the good ones to print and that payment will be done at that spot.

Since i knew him, i accepted and reaching that day, I went to the church not to see one of my photo man in church. I had to call him outside to enquire some details from him. At the end, i discovered that he came to cover that same dedication. The most funny part was, he said that the guy has committed him with #3,000 just before a day to the event.

How did you handle it and what were the lessons learnt.?

We had to call the celebrant out, to get clarifications. He said that he was looking for me but since he didn't see me, that was the reason he did that. So I had seen this as a partially informed situation because an advance wasn't given to me before the event. I had to tell my guy to do the work while i left the church.

The lesson here is very important to life as well as business. This has made me to always insist for an advance payment before we can call it a deal.

In conclusion, I want to encourage all business men to always look into this before accepting to go for any business of life.

I was looking at it as someone i know and this is the main reason i wasn't serious with getting tha advance payment before that event. In business, please don't look at it as serving a friend or relations! This can throw your business to the mood.

I'm inviting @karianaporras, @lil.albab, @cruzamilcar63 to be part of this contest.

Thank you for your time and i hope you found value.

Thank you, @justiceanietie for participating in this contest organized in the Steem4Nigeria community. Information this days is very important. I believe that friend of yours was just being disloyal. After a verbal contract was made between you two, if you had agreed to serve him, he should only take another person after you disappoint and not before. We have accessed your article and we present this as the result of the assessment below.
