Showcasing my countrys food

It's another great opportunity for us to take part and showcase our country's food and be proud of what we have here. I trust we are all doing great.

I want to sincerely thank the organizers for bringing this contest topic about foods in our country. Without wasting much time, I will be discussing the content of this topic just below:

Are you one of those that loves good food?

When it comes to good food, I really loved good meal that is well prepared. Here in Nigeria, we have different tribes and this brings the preparation of different foods in terms of tradition. The above is a restaurant food.

As we all know, we have the housa, Ibos, yerobas and the Ibibios which is seen as the minority here in Nigeria among others.

It might interest you to know that this four (4) tribes has their own different types of food and their own way of preparing them.

I can say that among the 4 tribes, the Ibos and Ibibios has the highest and best food to offer.

What county are you from and what type of food is predominant there?

I'm a Nigerian and here we have a lot of different meals and all are good. But i could say that fufu is leading here in Nigeria.

As a Nigerian, we can not do work without eating fufu in the space of 3 days. Our system needs it and it give us strength to do more hard work.

You can not drink tea and bread to go and clear the bush or till the soil, that is impossible for an African man. If you want to enjoy fufu, just take it with salate soup or vegetable soup prepared by an Ibibio mother.

Then you can also consume fufu with melon soup and some Ibo soups, prepared by an Ibo's mother.

This are just few points given here concerning the soup our mothers cook here. There are a lot of soup prepared by our mothers and there are all delicious meal. The Yerobas and Housas, has their own way of preparing their meal too in a delicious way.

Do you know how to prepare your country's predominant food?

I started learning how to prepare my predominant meal while I was still growing up with my parents. I can still remembered when i first prepared a rice and stew for our visitor.

My parent went to a meeting that day while our visitors landed. At this point, for the very first time, I had to take up that responsibility of cooking.

When it comes to fufu, you have to pass through the process of pounding it manually both first and second time before preparing the soup. All this process are very simple to know.

What's your favorite food found in your country.

The most favourite food found in my country is Fufu and Afang soup, Rice and Stew.

Tell us anything else about food

We also have plantain and beans. This is one of my best food too. If you taste this food, you won't be hungry of any other food. We call it concrete food because it can last in your system for overtime.

Conclusion

In conclusion, we have a lot of food here in Nigeria which are welled prepared and enjoyed at same time. Today, many men had also learn how to cook and this has made many to established a restaurant for themselves.
