Farming Season: My Farm, My Pride.

Hello good evening to you all and I hope we are all doing good. I'm pleased to share with you how far I have cared for my Crops this farming season.

Farm Season

We all know that the actual farming season is around March and early April, which is meant for planting. But to my greatest surprise, this year's farming season is quite different from others.

We saw that all the crops that were planted during March and early April were time wasted. This is because of the lack of Rain during this period. However, I planted Maize, vegetables, groundnuts, etc but the little fox won't allow it.

Around April the Sun was too much and the first and second sets of crops died. At this point, I had to do replacement while the little fox was busy removing the Maize (corn).

I had to look for a means to see how I could prevent it from removing the crops and I finally got a solution. I looked for a battery and I mixed it with the corn before planting. This is the way I succeeded in having some corn in my farm.

First weeding

Due to the delay of crops, I had to overlook the first weeding. At this point, the majority of the hips are just empty because even the cassava sticks were equally destroyed by white ants.

If you have a farm in Ikom Cross River state, you should have a fair knowledge about the lack of Rain in our area.

This was so serious which led to the gathering of men of God in Ikom land to pray for the rain to come down and the Lord honored their prayers while we had rain.

We all know that all that is consumed comes from the farm. For this reason, we can't live without farming especially this time when the Nigerian economy is very difficult to cope with.

In conclusion, I advised everyone to go into farming, and secondly, don't plant your crops without applying battery as this will prevent the little foxes from destroying them.
