Reporting a situation in my area

As the purpose of this contest implies, in my today's post in am going to talk about the current situation here in IKOT/MIANG/NTAK-INYAN ITAM, ITU LGA AKWA IBOM STATE UYO (Calabar Itu road).

Few years ago they was a crisis in the mention location, where the road was damaged due to unmanaged erosion, the road was easy and a shortcut as well used to navigate many places in Itam clan. Almost all the citizens were conversant with the road and most time uses it to locate verious place.

But..
Unfortunately it was reported that the road was damaged due to unmanaged erosion. from observation, it is noticed that the unmanaged erosion was caused due the the poor topography of the area.

The erosion gutter as well extend not just in IKOT EMIANG and NTAK-INYAN alone but from other nearby villages which is IKOT EBOM, IKOT EKPUK and IKOT EKWERE ITAM.

Some popular places around the environment

Some popular places around the environment includes AKWA IBOM BROCASTING COMPARATION (AKBC) Ntak Inyang and POLICE STATION, ITAM DIVISION.

Crisis caused

This causes traffic congestion and delays for commuters and businesses, because all the citizens are now using one alternative routes available.
This had cause frustration and anger among Citizen affected.

Citizens suggestions

Since the distruction occur caused on the popular road citizen's use, Citizen complaint on how the road being disrupted due to damage highlights the importance of maintaining infrastructure and ensuring that roads are safe and accessible for all members of the community, calling on Government to take action with immediate effect.
