My Neighborhood Watch #12 - Reporting Events Around us

Hello good evening to all Steem4nigeria family, here is my participation on a contest My Neighborhood Watch #12 - Reporting Events Around us organized here in Steem4nigeria published by @xkool24.

It so sad that Nigerians is suffering from bad roads which leads to hardship in most areas. the poor road conditions leads to increased accidents and poor movement. Many roads are filled with potholes of water, which can cause vehicles to lose control and crash when trying to fine a good way to move.
the lack of proper road markings and signage contributes to the poor movement in the society.

It is so sad that I and people living in my street are suffering because of bad road here.

The picture above is the road beside ITAM POLICE STATION UYO.

It so bad that motorcycle riders can't drive on the road, people living around here need to trek with the condition of the road for far distance before getting to where the can pay transport to wherever you going. And I any bike man could carry you it will be of a very high price.

This makes this environment so uncomfortable.

The roads on the other pictures was even manageable, here is another picture of a bad road in my street worst than before due to the fact that it was raining this morning.

Here nobody can use the road, everywhere is covered with water, so before I could get to where am working I needed to use another Road which is 3× far compare with if I was using my usual way.
Am not not the only one suffering from this, everybody living on the street are also complaining.

Because of this Poor road conditions it difficult for customers, suppliers, and employees to reach the business, This automatically result in the reduction of foot traffic and limited access to area and resources around here.

This is really affecting businesses around, because those vendors doesn't have customers to patronise them.

IN CONCLUSION

bad roads here in my area have a lot of negative effect on businesses around our street, leading to decreased accessibility, increased cost of transportation, safety concerns, negative perception and others operational expenses.
We pray the government should tender mercy and help us construct the road.
