Explain In Your Own Language The Meaning Of Surrogacy

In my words, I will defined Surrogacy as the act of giving birth to a baby for another woman who is unable to have babies herself. In other words, we can also say that Surrogacy is an legal agreement, where a woman agrees to labour on behalf of another couple, who now becomes the child's parents after birth. Is also a reproduction where the couple's work with another woman who will carry their baby and when the due time reaches, she deliveres the baby, and the child will be given to the couple.

Is There Any Implications Having A Child Through Surrogacy

There are alot of consequences and effects having babies through surrogacy (IVF). It comes with side effects and risks. Deciding to be a surrogate mother is a one of the most life decision to make as a woman. Surrogate pregnancies involves alot of medical risks of carrying another couple child and giving birth too. Sometimes, as a surrogate mother, in the morning, you experience some sickness like back pain, swelling, heartburn, diabetes, and some other uncomfortable side effects. It can also affect the embryo transfer process. You can experience sight cramping, bleeding, pre-menstrual sydronme, mood swings,etc.

What Is Your View About Surrogacy

In my point of view, is not an easy task to bear babies for another couple because you are the one that carried the baby for 9 good months and also be one to pass through all the pains, suffer, dizziness, weaknesses and also at last, deliver the baby. Not all woman can do surrogacy because it takes emotional risks and a strong woman to do it.

How Is It Viewed In Your Country ?

In my country Nigeria, surrogacy is supported. But legal advice from a Surrogacy doctor is given to women who wants to do surrogacy. It is important and essential in my country because most women of today have their babies through surrogacy.

Do You Recommend Surrogacy To Couple's Who Are Challenged In Having Babies?

I advise all women who are in quest of child, doing surrogacy will make matter worse. Don't involve yourself in surrogacy because it involves risks. Better still, I recommend you should go adopt a baby or rather wait for God's time, because God's time is the best...!!! Inorder to avoid some issues in the future, abstain from surrogacy, because it's involves risks and danger..
