Today, we will be navigating on the issues of a successful marriage. Just read on;

What do you think makes a marriage successful?

For a marriage to be successful, there are keys to it. No one is perfect, and there is no perfect marriage. Every marriage has its own ups and down. Here are list of keys to a successful marriage;

• Love and Commitment: Love is a decision to be committed to another person. Once you love someone, you portray to your love by being committed to him or her. Feelings can come and go, but a true decision to be committed to lasts forever.

• Humility: This is one of the essential keys to successful marital life. Yes, I agree that we all have our different weakness and bad sides, which makes a lasting marriage to always reveal these faults quicker. A healthy marriage is the ability to admit that you make mistakes, willingness to correct yourself, and need to forgive.

• Patience and forgiveness: No one is perfect, so there is always a need for forgiveness and patience in a marriage. Successful marriage is composed of two people showing unending patience and forgiveness to each other.

• Time: Marriage can't work out without investing your time together with your partner. Any successful marriage or relationship requires to spend quality time and good times.

• Sexual satisfaction: As a woman, you need to be romantic and satisfy your husband well in bed. If you don't do it, he will have to look outside for side chicks that can satisfy him or do it more better.

• Trust: This is a very crucial part of a happy marriage. Once there is trust in a marriage, that settles it. Lack of trust brings down the marriage and you will eventually start to grow apart.

How can couples improve communication in their marriage?

Communication is the foundation of any successful relationship or marriage. Good communication is vital for several reasons. It promotes intimacy, help partners to build their trust and respect, emotional connection, and increase their ability to work together to solve problems. Effective communication between partners helps to prevent misunderstandings, conflicts, and able to understand each other's perspectives.

Discuss the importance of trust in a marriage.

Trust is the number one tier of a successful marriage. Trust is important in marriage because it allows you to be more open and giving. If you trust your partner, you are more likely to be forgiving in their shortcomings. Trust makes you feel safe, happy and supported. A relationship without trust is likely vulnerable to unsafe decision that can affect it in the future. Trusting each other helps to know what is best for you. Gaining trust takes time in marriage, and trust is a choice.

How do couples navigate conflicts in a healthy way?

For couples to resolve issues in a healthy way, below here are few conflicts resolution tips for couples and partners;

• Stay open- minded.
• Don't blame your partner. Sometimes, you might be tempted to blame your partner for problems that's happening, but don't do it, because nothing good comes out of it.
• Directly express your thoughts and feelings.
• Stick to one argument at a time.
• Don't sweat the small stuff. This means that you shouldn't let little things bother you.

Do you consider distance between spouses and cultural differences a problem in marriage? Why?

Cultural differences in marriage sometimes leads to myriad of challenges in a marriage, which often leads to misunderstanding, conflicts, struggles. When cultural differences is involved in a marriage, they may face discrimination, or lack of acceptance from the society. This can be a source of disrespect, disregard and discomfort for the couples. Cultural expectations varies greatly, influencing everything from decision making to house hold responsibilities.

In Summary, I will say that for a successful marriage, we need to be patience, loving, caring, forgiving, humble, commitment, humility, trust worthy, contentment, etc. Thank you for stopping by today..
