Introduction

Nigeria is my country and is made up of plateaus and Nigeria contains a well developed economy which is more based on petroleum production and agriculture Nigeria grow so many kinds of foods, in Nigeria trading, transportations, and Services employ more than three-fifths of the workforce.

Nigeria is a federal republic that has two legislative bodies which is head of states that's the governor's and and head of the country which is the president.
Nigeria gained it's independence in the year 1960 and arrived as a republic in year 1963.

Nigerian present currency is known as Naira and one steem is equivalent to 79 Naira.

What are the great things that interest you about your country?

Culture and traditions.

Nigeria is a country that is made up of different cultures and traditions, the Igbo speaking tribe, the Hausa speaking tribe, the Yoruba speaking tribe, the efiks and many other tribes and they all have different cultures and traditions.

Nigerians do not joke with their various culture and traditions.
For example; the Igbos have a tradition called "Iri Ji" ( Yam festival) once it is the season for this tradition no matter the state where an Igbo man resides in Nigeria he must participate in that well known tradition.

The Northerners have a tradition of celebrating Salah and no matter where a northerner resides he or she must celebrate that tradition.

So in essence Nigerians do not joke with thier cultures and traditions.

Freedom of worship.

Nigeria is a country that permits freedom of worship and this is a great thing. Because presently everyone can worship God in thier different ways and at different places.

Variety of foods.

Nigeria is a land of agriculture so as a result we have variety of foods and most times they are fresh from the farm.

Happiness.

Nigerians are happy people, honestly the financial state of the country and the insecurity in Nigeria is a good reason to take off our happiness, but honestly Nigerians are still happy despite the present condition.

Rich mens in Africa are from Nigeria.

Most African rich me like Aliko Dangote is from Nigeria because Nigerians are hard working that Is why they survive no matter where they go.

Which of the things mentioned above do you prefer your country for, over other countries?

Freedom of worship.

Tho presently the Muslims are threatening to take over the mode of worship in Nigeria but it has not been legalized, so I prefer my freedom of worship because in most countries you don't have such opportunity, most people are in prison because of their mode of worship.

Variety of foods.

Honestly this is another interesting fact of Nigeria I prefer because I love food and I love it fresh and spicy.

No Place like home: If you eventually leave your country in search of greener pastures, would you be willing to come back because of your response in (3).

Honestly I don't think if I leave this country I will have any reason to come back, but I will be paying Nigeria a visit to see my family members and also enjoy fresh foods and vegetables.

Thank you for reading my publication.

Indeed all what you have mentioned about Nigeria are all what Nigerians are good of doing. When it comes to culture we are there, relegions we're also there etc.

Thank you so much for sharing.

Your welcome

You are actually very right by saying Nigeria has a freedom of worship and that is another reason i prefer my country to other countries. I so much believe that one day Nigeria will be better according to (Psalms 126:1).

Nigeria is a country where a great diversity of ethnic groups converge, which makes it a multicultural region.

Regardless of the conditions of insecurity, and the economic problem, Nigerians continue to be happy, and always have the best disposition to continue advancing in the solution of their problems.

Your family ties and the great variety of food produced in your country are important aspects that you would take with you wherever you go.

Our culture is always respected and honored and I accept the fact the we still enjoy freedom of worship

You have written beautifully about Nigeria our country. Nevertheless, I would encourage you to be hopeful for the good of the country. We all wouldn't want to go out of this country if things were better but let us pray and be hopeful. The coming election is a source of hope but we have to be part of the election a vote right.

Lol ok thanks for stopping by

You are welcome

Nigeria is a country that permits freedom of worship and this is a great thing.

You have an amazing point here @joyful22. Nigeria allows her citizens to worship the way the want unlike some countries.

Thanks for sharing with us.
