All that you have discussed concerning the use of old pictures that were taken previously to report a diary is true. I have seen several things like that. A diary game should be about what happened on a particular day, not within the week or month, but just a single date.
To me, I think it would be nice for any user who wants to write about a diary game to turn on the watermark (date) of his or her device so everyone can see when the picture was taken. The image below, for example, shows that I took the photo on 31-10-2022 at 3:38Pm (15:38pm), which is today.
It is just a suggestion to make everything look more original.
You are quite right. If anyone is attentive enough, they would have definitely seen a lot of cases like that over time. You have written a good suggestion on one of the ways to curb the act. Thanks for the visit, @josepha.
