Hello friends, greetings to you from your humble friend @josepha. Today I want to share with you an interesting post on how to buy Steem using your local currency and send the Steem to your Steemit wallet. Everything here has been done practically for easy understanding.

Before I continue, I want to send a very big thank you to @fredquantum for the #learnwithsteem initiative idea he brought, which is part of what motivated me to publish this post.

Let's do it practically now.

At this point, we shall try nothing but the best, easiest, and safest way to fund your Roqqu wallet account with Naira (NGN), buy crypto like Steem, and send it to your Steemit account.

How to fund a Raven account

At this point, let's first learn how to fund the Raven Account. First, you should ensure that you have fully verified your Raven Bank account. If you don't have a Raven Bank account, you can visit Here.

Step 1: Open your Raven app and click on "Add Money."

Step2: Copy your Raven account number as shown in the screenshot.

Step3: Once you have copied your account number, you can then make a deposit into the account via bank transfer, ATM, POS, mobile banking, etc.

In my own case, you can see I have successfully funded my Raven Account with 3,000 NGN (24 STEEM).

How To Fund A Roqqu Account From Raven Bank

At this point, in order to deposit or fund Naira into your Roqqu wallet, you have to ensure that your Roqqu wallet is fully verified. To have a Roqqu wallet, you can click HERE.

Once you have verified your Roqqu wallet, you can then proceed with the steps below and deposit the Naira you have already deposited in your Raven bank account.

Step 1: Open the Roqqu wallet app on your iOS or Android device.

Step 2: Now that you have logged in to your Roqqu Account, click on "Deposit."

Step 3: Input the amount you want to deposit in NGN or USD. In my own case, I input 3,000 NGN (24 STEEM).

Step 4: If you wish, you can tap “Include fees in calculation” or leave it unticked and let Roqqu deduct the fee from the deposit.

Step 5: At this point, click on “Proceed with Deposit."

Step6: After you have clicked on ,“proceed,” select the option of “Wallet Peer-to-Peer." On the list, select Raven (fastest).

Step7: Click on ”Transfer narration” to copy a unique code that will be used as your narration while depositing from RAVEN to ROQQU.

Note: From the profile icon above, you will see a name with a green verification tick; that is the Raven username to be used when depositing NGN from RAVEN to ROQQU.

Once all this is put in place, you can now go back to your RAVEN Bank App and proceed to make a deposit into the verified Roqqu merchant RAVEN USERNAME provided by Roqqu Wallet.

Also, after you have done the transfer from the Raven Bank app, you will then come back to your Roqqu and click on "Complete." Before that, let's take a look at how the Raven transfers work.

How To Transfer NGN From Raven App To Roqqu Merchant

Step 1: Go to your RAVEN BANK app, open it, and click on "Send Money."

Step 2: Select the Raven find user and input the Roqqu-verified Merchant Raven username you copied.

Step3: Input the amount as instructed. I.e the amount you input in Roqqu wallet.After that click on Verify Details and you should see the user’s full name.

Step 4: Input the transfer narration as provided by the peer deposit merchant and click on "Complete Transfer."

Step 5: At this point, enter your Raven 6-digit PIN to complete the transaction.

Step6: Go back to your ROQQU wallet and tap on Complete Deposit.

Congratulations! You have successfully funded your ROQQU wallet with NGN using Raven Bank.

The deposit usually takes 1 to 5 minutes to reflect in your wallet, so don't panic. From the screenshot, you can see my deposit.

How to Buy Steem with NGN and Send to Your Steem Wallet

Since we have successfully funded our Roqqu Wallet, let's now use the money to buy our favorite crypto coin, Steem.

Step 1: Select Steem and tap on "Buy." I.e., you can also click on "Buy/Sell" from the top menu.

Step 2: Input the amount. In my case, enter 2000(14.1-Steem), and click on "Proceed with deposit."

Step3: Click on Accept, and instantly you will see the cryptocurrency in your wallet.

How to Transfer Steem to Your Steemit Wallet

This is very simple.

Step1: Select Steem and tap on send.

Step2: Enter your Steemit username.

• Amount and memo
  Note: You can leave the memo blank. Although in my case, I wrote "Learn with Steem."

Step3: Click on "Proceed" and enter your PIN.

Congratulations! You have successfully transferred STEEM to your Steemit wallet.
