Getting Ready to Promote Steemit As A City Coordinator In Abakaliki
Greetings to you, friend, and how are you doing today? I hope you are doing very well. As of last month, I was appointed as a City Coordinator in Ebonyi State, Nigeria, which is a development that was initiated by the two country representatives in Nigeria, @fredquantum and @ngoenyi.
The moment I was appointed as a city coordinator, I started looking for ways to promote Steemit within and outside of my town. In order for me to come up with a great strategy that would capture the minds of hundreds of people, both writers and investors, to join and invest on the Steemit platform, I have come up with the following strategies, i.e., plans that I will be using to promote Steemit in Abakaliki.
The following are my promotional strategies, which I will be using to promote Steemit.
Designing the Steemit logo on a T-shirt
Organizing a meetup on the first Sunday or Saturday of each month.
Creating stickers, jotters, banners, and billboards that will advertise Steemit to large numbers of people.
Creating a WhatsApp group and Discord server for easy communication and sharing of ideas among my city members.
For the most part, these are the plans that I have already put in place and started working on.
Plans Accomplished
- Steemit Logo on a T-SHIRT (Done)✓
myself holding T-SHIRTs with Steemit Logo Designed on it
- First meet up (will be done this coming up Sunday)
For the past week, I have been battling with the project that was given to me at my programming class and also traveling from one place to another, which has previously tethered me, but thank God I am free now. Having said that, my first meet-up will be on June 11, 2022.
I have scheduled Sunday because it is the day when most people in my town are free and love going out. My first meetup would center on introducing Steemit to newbies that will attend and finding out the reasons why active users are no longer active.
While the plans for Meetup were going on, I was seriously working with an artist who would work on the logo design, flyer, banner, and billboard. In regards to this development, I have been able to design** Steemit Logo on a T-Shirt**.
