The Diary Game || 27.05.2024 || Resting On A Monday
Hello everyone in the Steem4Nigeria community. I am elated to be making a post after a few days of not posting. I have had a rather busy schedule throughout the week and I needed a time off from Social media.
Though I wasn't making post, I was still reading, commenting and upvoting contents from other authors.
On Monday was a day to relax for me. In my country, we celebrate children's Day. It was a fun filled day. I'd thought I will have the chance to rest but I couldn't rest.
In the morning, I did my normal chores and was very hungry. I had planned to go to school to mark my pupil's books. I had a lot to do for the day but little energy to carry them out.

I stopped by a restaurant, and bought grilled chicken and coke. I also bought fried yams to go with the chicken. I was filled when I was done eating..the energy I needed was now available in full. I went off to mark the books. It took up to 3 hours to mark their books because it was much.
Soon I was done with marking, so I went off to meet a friend. I wanted to surprise her on her birthday. Well it got that I was surprised instead, she had gone out for a trip and she was to come back late at night.
So I went to a restaurant in the city of Uyo to get meat pie and drinks. Chicken Republic have the best fried chickens, so I got them too. I wanted to still surprise her at home.

Putting a smile on people's faces is always a great feeling. I got some other personal things for myself. It was dark at night and I was still waiting for my friend to come back. Well when she arrived it was dark and I couldn't get a great picture of her. She was quite happy and thanked me enough for the gifts.
I went home and then had a haircut. I looked good after the haircut. Having a fresh haircut makes me look cute and handsome.

On getting home, I had dinner and I retired to bed after planning out my day for the next day.
I thought I was going to rest for the first time on a Monday, but it turns out I worked throughout the day.
Well I still enjoyed myself and was happy that I made someone smiled.
