Diary Game || Celebrating An Anniversary

The weekend was a special one for steemians in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state Nigeria. We had the opportunity to enjoin with @bossj23 to celebrate his second year on steemit. It was really wonderful. The venue for the meetup was at the Tropicana mall, located in Uyo. We all came out to celebrate him whilst some people joined through a WhatsApp call.

My humble self was the Master of ceremony (MC), and Mr @benton3 was the Chairman of the occasion.
The event started with an introduction from the MC and also the opening remarks by the chairman of the occasion. In attendance were @ngoenyi, @basil20, @usoro01, @davidmarkgeorge and @imohmitch and a lot of other steemians.

After the opening remarks, we all introduced ourselves and also the celebrant. Then up next was the question and answer session which was very insightful. I took charge of the question and answer session with the celebrant who talked about his achievements and struggles on steemit and also adviced young steemians on how to sail through.

It wasn't long before cutting of the cake by the celebrant. It was quite a joyful moment for all of us. We couldn't contain the joy that we felt, we all shared the cake and remained some.

@basil20 took us on some quizzes about steemit and we all answered with excitement. Some people couldn't answer the questions too. We jokingly told those that couldn't answer to pay using steem.

After which @ngoenyi talked to us and encourage us all to continue in curating content. We all learned greatly from her and @benton3. It was spectacular to be on a call with her and also hear from her great bowels of wisdom. The call ended on a high note and we went off for the part 2 of the party. Who wouldn't love food and drinks?

We ordered for food and drinks too, well what is a party without food and drinks. We all are and had a great time with each other. The taste of the food was great. We also took ice-cream too.

Then we played games, some of us dance...it was very funny to see some of us who couldn't dance, giving it a try. It was all fun throughout the day. The celebrant also danced with joy, I was very glad for him. It is not easy to be on steemit for 2 years and then celebrating it also.

A party without pictures?
Well we ended the day with pictures and we took a whole lot of pictures on our phones.

The day ended and we all retired to our different homes. It was a great anniversary and I look forward to many years on steemit.
