SEC15 WK1: "Life on Social Media"
I am happy that the Steemit engagement Challenge has started again I am so delighted to begin my entry into the steem4nigeria community. Friends, I welcome you to my post as you are here to read and contribute to my post.
No, I don't support that our daily lives should be put on social media all the time. Social media is a place that is designed for communication, sharing of information, promotion, and other things that our daily lives should not be put to it all the time.
The reason why I don't support that our daily lives should be put on social media is because by the time someone starts putting his or her daily lives on social media he or she will attract more haters to his/herself. People will begin to say what you don't say trying to get views from your point of view by changing your statement out of what you have said.
Social media is good for chatting and communication, but it is not good for us to put our daily lives on it because it exposes us to danger. It can make your enemies know your whereabouts and hurt you.
Yes, I have seen a person showcasing her life on social media which led to the death of the person, and someone who also showcased his life which led to the person's success. It all depends on how we showcase ourselves.
There was a lady in my formal street who liked showcasing herself and her properties on social media which led to her death because her friends became jealous of her and poisoned her.
Also, I have seen a guy who after showcasing how poor he is, what he does for a living, and so on, turned out well for him as people felt pity on him and contributed money for him. Today the guy in question is doing well.
No, I don't think all the showcases on social media are true. Nowadays, social media is where you can find people living fake lifestyles, like girl a snapping on a big car, claiming it is her own whereas it is a fake lifestyle.
Social media is where many people claim to be who they aren't just to impress society so people will see them as rich people whereas they are living fake lifestyles.
I have seen someone who just went to the airport to snap went to social media and posted, on my way to Germany but she didn't even have an international passport not to mention of German visa.
Yes, I feel safe on Steemit with my information. Steemit is a nice social media platform that safe our information without selling it to third-party platforms which I feel very safe in sharing my information.
One good thing that I can say about Steemit is that Steemit is a life-changing platform that provides support for every user. It is a platform to meet with real people, a place where users don't live fake lifestyles and I am very happy to be a Steemian.

According to you social media is a platform, which is exchanged all kinds of communication, in this case what you said, some daily things of life can not be shared with them, I agree with your words, also if we have this platform. The outcomes of showcasing on social media you experienced in your life , from getting some girls getting jealous of their friend and also experienced some positive instances where genuine struggles garner support.
Not all displays on social media are truthful; some people create fake lifestyles to impress others, emphasizing the need to be cautious about what we believe online.
