Sounds and Sound wave.

Good day my dear steemians today I will love to write on the topic sound. From our primary school we were taught that sounds are produced by a vibrating body. For instance when we strike a tunning fork, it's prongs vibrate. Now take note that almost every object can vibrate and hence this can also be a source off sound. An important aspect of sound of transmission is that a material medium is always require for the passage of sound. Sound wave are propergated into the air by the displacement of air molecules. The molecules vibrate in the direction parallel to the direction of the waves.

Like light, sounds refracted when they pass from one medium to another of the different density. This explain why it is easier to hear sound coming from a distance at night and day time. Have you notice that when a person speaks loudly in a room, the sound produce can be heard around a corner without the person being seen. The sound wave are diffracted through the doors and the windows which are being opened. This shows the waves length of sound waves. Have you observe that when they are too much things in the room the noise from the background is being less but when they is nothing in the room the noise is being increase to a 100% sound in the room.

So in conclusion i hope i have been able to convince you and not to confuse you that sounds are produced by a vibrating body Incase you are being asked.
