My view on the high cost of items in my country

Today i will love to write on this interesting contest, titled "My view on the high cost of items in my country".

Recently, so many states, countries, villages and so many other places are experiencing hard cost of items, which makes it difficult for them to provide for their family. In Nigeria things things has increased in so many things. Could you imagine that the cost of fuel had increased which has made it difficult for road transportation and importing and exporting of food items. So i will go ahead to answer the following questions below;

what is the situation in your country currently?, Has items in your country increased in price lately?

In Nigeria, especially Akwa ibom state which i know of and not very familiar with other countries are increased in the price of food items, currently the situation in Nigeria is that we have been experiencing hard cost of items, which has made it difficult for each an everyone of us to provide for our family. Like i said in Nigeria things has increased, things that has increased in Akwa ibom state are the cost of food items, the price of material and textile, the cost of fuel. Now do you know why the cost of everything is high just one thing and that one thing is fuel, fuel has made it so hard for the importing and exporting of food items in Nigeria.

Mention 5 items in your country that has increased in price. How much was it before and how much does it cost now( it will be nice to also show the price in steem)

The important five items which has increased in our country is;

• Cost of Rice; before, a bag of rice was eight thousand naira, from eight thousand naira to fifteen thousand naira from fifteen thousand naira to thirty thousand naira from thirty thousand naira to fourty eight thousand naira, from fourty eight thousand naira till the recent price which is seventy nine thousand naira. And seventy nine thousand naira in steem is approximately 319 steem with remaining change of 750.

• The price of fuel; fuel has really made it hard for us to import and export food items in and out of the country. The price of fuel was 250 per liter and then rise up to 500 per liter and then rise up to 850 per liter and now recently the price of fuel is 1500 per liter. 1500 in steem is 6 steem

• Dry Pepper, pepper in a cup was 50 naira and now recently pepper is 1500 per cup and in steem it is 6 steem without remaining change.

• A bag of pure water was 70 naira in a bag, from 70 naira to 100 naira from 100 naira to 200 now recently it is 350 naira. In steem it is 2 with the remaining change of
  150 naira .

• Goat; before big goat was 10 -12 thousand naira now it is 70 thousand naira, in steem it is 280 steem.

How are you coping with the difficulties in your country and what do you think is causing these difficulties?

I must say that we are coping with difficulties through the following ways, which are managing of food items not wasting of food items, this are only the ways of coping with difficulties in this country. The main reason and the people who are causing this difficulties are bad governance in the country, bad leaders and so many others.

If you have an opportunity to leave your country to another country for greener pastures which country will you like to travel to and why?

My dream county is China. I love the way they do things, they really differ from us in terms of food the dressing and also the food the eat. Although there are so many vegetarians in that side, the country is blessed with greener pastures, but Nigeria that has the most rich vegetables.
