Greetings to all my steemit friends. It's now an opportunity to express our feelings and perspectives about love and money, and HERE WE GO.......
In my life journey so far, I have been in a relationship with 5 ladies including my current girlfriend. As for the remaining 4 girls that I consider Ex girlfriends, we never broke up in bitterness. The reason is, looking at how we parted ways with them, it's either we experience a breakdown in communication due to several months of being far away from each other or we both wake up one day to realize that the feelings are no more.
As such, everyone moves naturally without picking offense. In essence, I have never broken up with a girlfriend as a result of her losing interest and coming to tell me it's over between us. If I'm to be sincere, I'm still on good terms with all my former girlfriends. When we meet, we joke, chat, and have fun. The respect remains.
Talking about knowing someone who has had a heartbreak, many of my friends and colleagues have passed through the experience. I have a friend who fell in love with a beautiful lady 14 months ago. Although right from time, we told him that the girl looks more like a bad girl, he insisted that he loved her and wanted to build a serious relationship with her. As friends we tried to convince him to be very careful but, since he insisted, we had no option but to support the relationship.
A few months later, the girl came up to him and served him breakfast (heartbreak). She told him that her heart was no longer with him and she couldn't continue the relationship. Everything was more like a dream because he loved her beyond imagination. As his friends, we did all we could to bring them together but the girl insisted. A few days later, we learned that the lady traveled to Abuja to spend a week with one of her boyfriends. The story almost took the life of my friend. He could not eat, drink, or do anything for 2 days. But thank God everything is now behind him.
100% yes to this question. If genuine love does not exist without money, then only the rich could have been married or rather been in a romantic relationship. But what do we have today? We have seen cases where ladies reject a rich guy just to settle with the poor. All these things happen not because money is not needed but because love leads. In summary, genuine love exists without money, and that is the reason why the rich guys have not taken all our babes from us. They love us even without the money.
I go for love if I have to choose between the two. Have you not heard of our African elders saying that don't wait until you are rich before you marry? Find love first, and trust me, with hard work and commitment, money will follow.
Nevertheless, what is money without love? To me, it's possible to live happily even without money. At least we have many poor people around us who are contented. But how many people can endure a lack of love? Can you stay in a world where nobody loves you? Of course not. In as much as money is important, love is more vital. As a result, I choose love over money.
It is well known that money moves the world. It makes things and things happen. But looking at it from another angle, money answers to only material things. It can bring any material things to your table. But it can not buy feelings. You and I know that love is a feeling that takes place naturally in the heart. If we talk of lust, then money can buy it but as for genuine love, money has failed. Nevertheless, it can inspire love. Just like Davido said, "Love is sweet but with money, love is sweeter". In as much as money can not buy love, it can make it more interesting when already in it.
