How Do You See Continuing Friendship After Marriage.

This question is iffy and demands that requires to be addressed with a kind disposition. Friendship is very much admirable to be kept. Notwithstanding, it is imperative to point out that sometimes a relationship is misunderstood as friendship.

Marriage shouldn't be the reason for the discontinuation of friendship. However, only the wholesome ones should continue not the ones that could inflict or entangle our new marital status.

Honestly, I have some friends I have retained to date. Becoming married couldn't end the friendship with these people because they are wholesome. Problems arise when boundaries are crossed and intimacy begins to set in.

Do You Encourage Calling Besties And Treating Your Friends So Dearly After Marriage

We know that marriage comes with commitment and a great level of sentimental attachment hence there should be a limit to what we condole but to be on the safer side, we should have been cozy with such friends before marriage. Supposing such friends were not a menace prior to my marriage, certainly, they should be afterward.

My wife has a friend of hers she calls by a pet name and am ain't worried a bit about it. This friend and the pet name existed long before I came into her life and I made do with it, so for me, it isn't an issue of concern.

Notwithstanding, supposing such friendship had before been exposed to suspected or factual confidentiality, then it can be a question of concern.

What Experience Have You Or Someone Encountered Positively Or Negatively That Should Encourage Or Discourage Such Friendship?

I can't easily discuss this matter vis-a-vis my household or myself. It's a matter of trust and transparency in communication. Sincerity and veraciousness are the answer. Hypocrisy and capriciousness should by all means be avoided. When it is a pet name for a friendship that has lasted for a long time before becoming married, it isn't and shouldn't be a problem.

What we should look out for is the hypocrisy of pretenders. Moreso, based on individual differences what I personally care less about may be of great concern to another. What works for me may not work for another, condoling it is a personal thing and the case may not be the same with others.

What Is Your Personal Opinion Or View On Continuing Friendship After Marriage.

This is a personal thing rather than a personal viewpoint. Sometimes there are cases of disorientation when it comes to matters as such. Personally, I am very free and care less about this especially when it has to do with friends that we kept were irreprehensibly healthy.

Continuing in friendship after marriage should be a concern in circumstances in which honesty, transparency, and trust are the order of the day. It is unnecessary to strive to maintain friendship in whatever situation except for cases of jeopardy.
