My Neighborhood Watch #60 - Reporting Events Around us

Hi everyone!

This is me @hafsasaadat90 from Pakistan. Hope y'all are fine. So it was about yesterday when a lady from my neighbors came to my place. She is also a very good friend of mine. She came to invite me and my kids for her son's birthday party. Though I don't like such gatherings alot but on her great persistence and her being a close family friend, I had to agree. My kids were also very excited for the day. So we got ready and first went to near by miniso store to buy him some gifts.

In evening I dressed up my kids according to the party theme which was of Mickey mouse. Then we reached their house at around 6:00 pm. There other children from neighborhood too. Everyone was dressed as Mickey mouse characters. Kids were playing around and were very energetic.

Birthday boy's parents had decorated their house for the night. There were glittery curtains hanging on walls with a balloon corner. My daughter became excited on seeing this much balloons and started playing with them.

After a small games session everyone declared it was time to cut the cake finally. This was the exact moment every kid in the place was craving for. Boy's mother brought a cake and placed it on the table decorated especially for it. It was a customized Mickey mouse cake which was looking very cute.

After cutting the cake us ladies served it to everyone. Children were very anxious and making a great hassle. But I controlled the crowd by saying that one who make a noise would not be given a cake. Everyone kept silent and waited for their turn. In this way the event slipped away peacefully.

After getting free from there we returned to our home. Children retired to their beds early as they were already tired. I also slept knowing next day I had to get up early.
