Today I want to teach us how to make a simple but beautiful room hanging decor, but I will first of all educate us on what paper craft is, and it's benefits so stay connected as I get into it!

What Is Paper Craft?

We have so many types of crafts like textiles which have to do with clothing, the wood craft which have to with wood, furniture and sculpture etc then the paper craft Which have to do with paper.

PAPER CRAFT: is the use of paper or card boards as a primary medium of art making. It requires range of techniques, the card ♦️ or paper 🗞️ can be curve, folded, cut , bent, stitched, glued, molded or layered.

Craft making with paper is rampant in many societies today, likewise Nigeria our country, apart from its beautifying value, it's is therapeutic, and you can use it to educate children, it helps them to develop fine motor skills.

Paper is readily available and at a very affordable prices compared to other crafts, moreover it's simple to work with it and it's neater to work with.

Materials Needed:

• color papers
• bond top(gum)
• scissors
• beads
• wool
• brush 🖌️
• Pencil
• Red Color pen
• Cutter
• ruler 📏

Steps in making the Decor:

• use ruler and measure out 6 cm width and 5cm length of lemon color paper and cut it out

• fold the paper into two equal parts

• draw a half circle shape

• cut it out

• cut out a circle 🔴 from a carton, and cover a card board round it

• start pasting the leaves on the circle 🔴

• continue pasting until small space is left

• cut out pink color paper and make a flower 🌺 out of it

• use scissors ✂️ to piece the middle but not up to it edge

• open gently and paste gum at one edge and gum this side together

• then use your pencil ✏️ and folded up to make a beautiful flower

• make it big and paste in the small remaining space

• put a bead on it

• cut The edges of 5 flowers
  

• draw a red line in the middle

• cut the wool and glue the robe on the back of the leaves

• put color beads on the ropes

• glue the ropes at the back of the decor

• boom 💥 boom 💥 your decor is ready!
