Good evening, everyone. As a mother, I am happy to participate in this contest about motherhood.
Motherhood is sweet, though, with many sacrifices.

Defination of a mother and duties

A mother is someone who gives birth to another person.
A mother is a person who takes care and protects her children. A mother is that person who undergoes all the stresses of pregnancy and loses her shape just to bring forth a child. A mother, though sometimes can be an adopted mother, it can also be a biological mother. ll
I am happy to be a mother and a caring one as that.

A mother has a lot of duties in the family, from cooking for the family to washing clothes, cleaning, providing physical needs, emotional support, and otherwise.

Sacrifices made by a mother

Sacrifices that mothers make for their children are so numerous.
Some sacrifices includes passing through pregnancy discomfort, the risk of delivery and all the sleepless night just to bring life to the world and make sure that the child is in good condition.
Mothers sacrifice their time and energy, and some even stop working so that they can care for their children, especially when they are tender.
Sometimes, they sacrifice their own health to care for their children. Imagine a mother can be sick but will still make out time to care for her children.

How mother's love can shape her children

A mother's love can have a very great impact on the life of her children. The way a mother lives set patterns for her children and they follow suit.
A mother who is calm and well-behaved will likely have kids who also grow up to be like her, calm and well behave. A troublesome mother will find it hard to have children who are calm, quiet,and well-behave because the children will definitely imitate her.
A mother's love can help the children to be more peaceful, loveable, and more empathetic.
A mother's love can have a positive impact on her children work ethics and sense of responsibilities.

Celebrating our mother

It is thoughtful to celebrate mothers at all times, irrespective of any time of the year. Mother's celebration should not be set aside for special days. They should be appreciated at any point time, not when they are dead.
We have to spend quality time with our mothers, asking them how they see faring, about their health and a whole lot of things.
We can celebrate our mothers by writing letters to them, sending greeting cards and appreciation letter.
Our mothers can be celebrated by buying them the gift that you know they will like and appreciate.
