The Diary Game- 28/05/2022 | Football Session, Curation, Environmental Sanitation, and other Day's Activities | #burnsteem25

It's a wonderful time to share my diary in the community and I hope everyone is doing great today. It's been a few days since I made my diary game entries but today, I will be writing a diary article to show you how I spent my day in this part of the world. Let's journey together on this as I share a beautiful piece with you. Now to my diary. Sweet ride!

The day would be sectioned into three parts, each will be associated with one or two spotlights, these would be some important activities I have engaged in at every time of the day till the day ended.

It is Saturday morning, a day I have always set aside for football sessions as I don't longer have the time to play the game during the weekdays. It was 6:30 am when I stood up after being notified by my phone's alarm. I headed to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and took a quick shower. I bandaged my right toe with sterile absorbent gauze, I will tell you a story about that later. I had weak eyes this morning because of short sleep yet, it's necessary for me to head out. I stepped outside my apartment and took a picture with the help of a friend.

What actually happened to my right toe? The nail was a bit longer, extending beyond the toe flesh and I haven't set a time to have trim the nail. About two weeks ago, I was on the pitch when I chose to toe a pass to my teammate, even from inside the boot, I have just toed the ball with my nail and it broke forcefully at the base. I left the pitch at that moment, removed the boot and I was bleeding. It was painful and I ended my game prematurely that day. There is a growth of a new nail beneath the old one and the toe would go back to shape with time.

The right leg is my natural football leg and I do more with it, to be able to play the game, I have it bandaged. I left the house before 7 am and trekked the 2.3 Km to the bus stop where I boarded a bus to the football pitch area. It was a good day of football, my team played well and I was one of the solid contributors for the day.

Getting back home, I took my bath and had tea for the breakfast. Before I know it, it's already noon.

The day has just entered the afternoon and I started curating articles under the fintech tag, which proceeded for some time with patient checking for plagiarism and club status of the authors before giving out upvotes in the right percentage. The process of curation continued for a while when I later switched to fine-tuning steem4nigeria's application for the engagement challenge.

Around 4:30 pm, I deem it fit to perform voluntary sanitation. I occupy a flat in a 24 flats compound where sometimes most of the guys didn't care about happenings around us. There was a conflict between the landlord and the caretaker after I rented the apartment, with the accusation that the caretaker have hiked the rent beyond what he was told and had not remitted any of the funds rather he claimed he has spent all and other funds for maintenance on the property.

Well, I was able to secure the flat back then because there were threats of closing down the property leaving us hanging. Enough of that, there is a site beside the house that we utilize as a dumpsite that harbors our refuse and it's always burnt every 4 days. Some people were specially employed to do this, unfortunately, we don't have them any longer as they informed us that the property owner is not paying their salary for the job again.

It's been two weeks now, the dumpsite is full and none of the guys in the house seems concerned. Leaving it that long is polluting the environment so I chose to take up the task of burning it.

After spending about 1.5hr at the site burning the refuse, I returned to my apartment and took a deep bath because I was so soaked with the smoke from the dumpsite. I am having dinner early today that's because I have not really taken a notable meal all day. My dinner was white rice, apple, and watermelon, that's a rare combo but I chose to do it today, my rice has neither stew nor sauce.

I continued with curation after dinner. A few minutes to 9 pm, I published the engagement challenge application and I focused on watching the Champions League final game between Liverpool FC and Real Madrid. It was an interesting game and Real Madrid emerged the winner at the end of the day. After the match, I called it a day.

In conclusion, it's a weekend that got me engaged in so many things, ranging from football, curation, environmental sanitation, and so on. And at the same time, it was a stressful one for me but I feel great doing those things.
