  • Look for the tool that will work best for you(notebook, To-do application, etc). The application can be on your smartphone or computer. You can also use a google sheet, an online management tool.
  • List out all your tasks, arranging from less priority to top priority. It is important to list absolutely everything down.
  • From your list above you will be able to see the tasks you can't handle and will need help with. So at this point, you are noting the task you will outsource for help.
  • Now separate the remaining tasks, That is Home tasks, office tasks, etc. In case you are at the office you have to break out into projects.
  • We have all our tasks noted down, let's remove the background noise. Break the tasks into a matter of hours for the day keeping them simple and in order of priority.
  • Estimate the time you can take to complete the tasks and attach them next to the task, so you can hold yourself accountable
  • Put down the due date next to the master list, which carries the particular task. This aspect is like setting yourself goals to archives while keeping aside the less urgent tasks.
  • Don't hide your To-do List, let it be where you can always see it, and if possible move along with it.
  • Not like you need someone to follow you up, it is important to share your To-do List with someone. At this point, you have the feeling that you have someone holding you accountable.

Why do we need to acquire this knowledge that you have passed?

  • It will make you feel good when you accomplish a task and strike it off your To-do List
  • You find yourself achieving big goals
  • You will save time
  • You will be more reliable as your To-do List will keep you up to date.

Talk about how technological advances have affected your field. This can be positive or negative.

My field is surrounded by innovation in web technology, and one of the advances is the availability of project management tools. These tools have helped in the collaboration and communication of developers on projects. You get more details from my post Engineering and Science (Some Web Dev Tools To Checkout)

I hope someone picks something from my post, especially in the aspect of having a To-do List. It has improved my work, and it is a tool we should all think of making use of.

Cheers

This is an interesting explanation about To-do list, it will help as a reminder, save time and at the end of the day, we will be able to give account on the task. Thank you for sharing.

we will be able to give account on the task.

Yeah, it's a tool I used, well I actually write down tasks in a notebook and also used a project management tool like Ring Central to share tasks with my team members.

Thanks for dropping on my post, hope you pick something.
