Steemit Engagement Challenge (SEC)| S12W5- "My Skill Takes Me Up"
Hello greetings to all steemians friends wherever they are, how are you today? Hopefully everyone is still in good health and can carry out all activities well. On this occasion I am back to participate in a contest held by the Steem4Nigeria Community in the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 12 Week 5 with the contest theme: "My Skill Takes Me Up"
Skill is the ability, expertise or skill to produce the desired task effectively and efficiently. Skill can be called a skill that exists within a person. Where with these skills someone is able to do something very well. Skills are really needed to do something, so everyone has their own skills. The skills possessed by someone are of course different from each other. It is very possible for a person's abilities to be improved depending on how much effort that person makes.
Having good skills is very important, especially in the world of work. Especially as technology becomes more sophisticated, competition becomes tighter in everything. Of course we will get worse if we don't have adequate skills and we won't be able to compete. Especially in the world of work where currently companies will choose people who have the best abilities. Skills are closely related to a person's creativity and knowledge to be able to make a job more meaningful. Having qualified skills will make it easy for someone to achieve success.
In general, in all countries, including Indonesia, there are many skills that are important in living everyday life. Some of these skills can help us to fulfill basic daily human needs. Earning a living to meet your needs also requires adequate skills. If we live in a village, farming skills are really needed. Likewise, fishermen and traders also need good trading skills.
The ability to manage finances and communicate well is also very much needed. In this sophisticated and modern era, people really need to have skills. All of these skills also depend on each person's job and hobbies. The ability to lead, the ability to adapt to the environment, having good empathy, enthusiasm for developing and learning and being able to work in a team are some examples of skills that can support success.
Wherever we are and whatever our profession, having skills is very useful in living everyday life. As a country where the majority work as farmers, Indonesia really needs agricultural skills. This skill is very important for people who live in rural areas, because knowledge or expertise about farming will make life better. Likewise, for people who live mostly on the coast, they must have adequate fishing skills.
As an educator who has been teaching for almost twenty years, I always try to improve my teaching skills to become even better. I have to keep learning and learning so that I can get better in the future. I also have to keep up with increasingly sophisticated developments so that in teaching I don't fall behind and can ensure that my students don't get bored and remain enthusiastic in learning. I also want to develop skills related to learning videos. I want to increase my knowledge and learn about video editing, photography and image editing. In this way, I hope that teaching will become better and more meaningful for students.
