Leisure Time

I hope you all are doing well and are also enjoying? If you ask me? I'll say I'm very fine and enjoying too. 👍

Are you wondering why I'm using "enjoyment" so well like I'm enjoying the enjoyment inside the enjoyment? Wonder no more because the reason for the enjoyment is because of the contest titled; "Leisure".

In your own words and from your opinion, what do you think the word leisure time means?

To me, leisure time means time to enjoy after a hectic day or relax from strenuous activities, it is time to take a rest from work/business and it's also a time to have fun and cool ones mind.

What category of person's do you fall in from the short description I gave in my introduction? The first category or second? And why do you think so?

Belonging to any of the categories depends on what an individual consider to be leisure time. While others consider spending cash on themselves, maybe buy themselves expensive gifts at leisure, giving oneself a special treat like going for a ride or having a massage etc, others may see it as time to sleep or maybe take a leave from work to rest at home and others may also see it as taking a vacation to a certain place where you cool off and relax.
Anyways, I'll say I belong to the second category.
I love rest, I love enjoyment no matter the form it takes. I think so because I love to rest, I take out time to sleep, sometimes I take myself for shopping and I even take myself out on a date. I've been doing this even before I got married, I take myself out to cool of with some good meals and drinks every month whenever I receive my salary. Now that I'm married it's not so often because of some added responsibilities. But I make sure once in a while I give myself "a treat."

Do you have a set aside time for leisure? If yes tell us about it and if no, then tell us why.

Yes, apart from holidays, I give myself time on Saturdays or Sundays to have some good times.
I grew up in an enjoyment and leisure loving city, "the city of Calabar" Cross River, State. And currently, in my State Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, every Friday is termed "Happy Hour", that's enjoyment to time or just term it " Leisure time", so most people use Fridays to have a time out for leisure in my state especially, in the city of Uyo.
So, to have a good time I usually go out for some sight seeing, most times I go to the popular Ibom Tropicana in my city to catch cruise.😄

What activities do you do in your leisure time?

I watch movies, surf the internet and I write like I'm writing on Steemit now.

In conclusion, leisure time is very important and necessary to us. As much as we want to keep functioning, we need to give ourselves some time to rest. I believe that if the engine is bad, the car won't function again and if it's not well maintained (serviced) it will not give optimal result.
