Greetings from me @etette, to you all in the community, am so delighted to be a participant of this contest that is been organized by @xkool24 it really a pleasure, he makes the @steem4Nigeria to strong and attractive. I most recommenc @xkool24.
I will like to report about a particular stream in my village.,it a very nice stream but still have ancestral rules and regulations governing it.

• The Twins Mother's stream
• Ancestral Family Square

It is not a story on my community, Ikot Eka Iko village in my clan Oku in Itu Local government Area Akwa Ibom State Nigeria that the major stream is a clean water stream, a fresh water that is naturally coming out from underneath the ground, it is the only source of drinking water for the villagers, this stream is the best Steem ever in the whole clan.

As Neighborhood Watch Reporter @etette visited the stream in the afternoon, the stream was calm and quiet because Children don't go to the stream in the afternoon, and according to one of the villagers make the Neighborhood Reporter to understand that this very stteam is out of bound for mothers that gave birth to twins in the village and even visitors doesn't go to the stream. When Neighborhood Reporter probe futher to gather the fact, it was certain that it is real and still on existence, that twins mother don't go to the stream.

After comforting this fact, @etette decided to take bath in the stream as it was day time when the sun was so hot

It was great to see this village maintaining the stream no matter the inflows of borehole in the village.

The Neighborhood Watch later visited one of the royal family ancestral family square, according to the information gathered, the ancestral family square is where the family people have their meetings every month end and end of the year party and meeting. It is nice seeing a place like this still in existence, family members don't go to their family head compound for meetings but only when there's emergency. The place is wonderful and attractive

It is a nice thing to see some villages maintaining their culture and also families. It a good one.
