Greetings to you all my Steemians in the house, am wishing you all a good day and also welcome every one that are participating in this Contest. In same vien, I do appreciate @xkool24 for always presenting a contest of this nature, it really a pleasure. I like to report on price of some commodities with in ny Area. • High rate of gas in my community • Customers complain about high cost of garri and rice. It been so hard to people of Ikot Ekwere in Itu Local government Area Akwa Ibom State Nigeria, that over some months now the price of gas was no to rde home about, infact during the New year celebration , they were buying gas #1,200 per KG in the area it makes citizens to worried about their lives and the little income they have. So yesterday when a Neighborhood Watch Reporter @etette visited a gas station within Uyo metropolis the Akwa Ibom State capital , I have discovered that gas is presently Sold at # 930 Naria in my local currency. It was Painful to people in Ikot Ekwere facing this challenges

At the time of filling this report, citizens of the area were pleading with the government to look into the issue because life with good economic growth is nothing, as they are facing difficulties Cook if not firewood which also is scarce. ,They also pleaded with the gas vendors to also reduce price when they bring it to the area.

As the Neighborhood Watch Reporter @etette visited a food stuff store , asking about the current price of Garri and rice which is the major food for the people living there. So when I reach the shop, I tried to ask of prices of iterms one after the other to be sure of current price of these two major food that people can not stay a day without making use of it (Garri and Rice)

Through the owner of the shop I discovered that garri is 1 cup # 100 naira in my local currency and rice is # 280 naira per cup, when I asked the shop owner why it is like this, he also complain of high rate of transportation, he futher said there's no how things will come down because everyone are facing this challenge of transportation.
And when you buy for retail, price most be add to at least have a little gain.

Apart from these two major food iterms that price kick up, others are, Bean, Maggi, Egg, washing soap, etc.

The Neighborhood Watch also filled this report for future reference and promise the people of the area to remain calmed that government will soon address their plight.
