Seasons greetings from me @etette,it another exciting moment to participate in this great Contest in this wonderful community, a contest that gives us information about what is happening in our enveroment , because things are happening here and there.
I also appreciate @xkool24 for always bringing in this wonderful and interesting Contest to the community, for us to be aware of what is happening around us.
I will like to report on the Economic Activity in my street.

It is obvious that the the price of commodities are going high every day in our enveroment, as such people found it difficult to buy and sell their products in the market and shops.
Mostly during this season of Christmas celebration.
When My Neighborhood Watch Reporter @etette visited a food vendor shop at No:4 Ikot Efiok street Uyo Akwa Ibom State Nigeria, it was discovered that the prices of commodities was a shock to me as prices of iterms like:

• Rice
• Beans
• Garri
• Maggi
• Onion
• Dry fish
Where not the same as before, customers were complaining about the situation on ground,

According to the food stuff vendor who is the owner of the shop,Mrs Joy Emeka lament about how they are buying goods in high price, most especially the food stuff and when they want to retail it,if they will not see gain. She futher disclose the cause of this hardship to be poor Economic management in our country.

She was not happy about the way and manner prices of commodities are going and at this season of Christmas celebration. In her own opinion,she pleaded with the government to at list assist the market women and Business owners. The photograph bellow shows some commodities she was able to buy from the market

When the Neighborhood Watch Reporter visited the only Electrical Store in the street, the story of hardship was also the same, the owner of the shop Mr. Michael Offong lament about the ongoing situation, that when he travel to Lagos last week to buy his goods, he was shocked about how prices of Electrical Store are skyrocket, He proved to Neighborhood Watch Reporter @etette the the amount they use to cleared container in Lagos is now 4.8 million Naira in my country currency ,Nigeria which is 16,000 Steem equivalent,compared to previous time which was 3 million Naira.

The photograph above shows the Electrical Store. It was not a good news to the Neighborhood Watch Reporter that the way people are lamenting about the current Economic challage should be a serious concern to government and some Non governmental Organization (NGOs) to assist the community.
