Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 96: This is Me.
What's something that always makes you smile?
There is an item which makes me smile anytime, absolutely without exception? Cash cash in my pocket. I think there is a kind of magic in entering my wallet or my bank application and seeing that not-so-terrible balance on my account my mood immediately will go up. 100 euro at a random cash alert, scratchy payment I had forgotten about, even a crumpled note in an old jacket, it is just pure delight.
They say that money cannot buy happiness but my money bough me peace of mind, good food, fun at any time and being able to treat others (or myself). The price of that freedom, the feeling of I-am-good is just priceless. And yes, whenever you see me grinning unnecessarily, probably, I am thinking about you. I just received remuneration.
What's your favorite way to spend a day off?
I thoroughly enjoy spending an entire day off by taking a break with the world around me and simply relaxing. I enjoy waking up late, without any alarm, it is nice to have peace in the morning. Then a cup of hot tea or coffee with listening to good music or online surfing in the stories with funny videos. On a nice weather day, I would love to go on a walk, feel the sun and allow my mind to wander around.
I would later indulge in a favorite series or in a good book. There needs to be good food be it a home cooked meal or something special ordered in. No times, no pressure just vibes. It is my ideal recreational formula to rejuvenate, ruminate and come back to life much rested and appreciative.
Is there any skill you'd love to learn and why?
To be able to add tech anything to my repertoire would be ideal; a code, digital design or an app development, or even cybersecurity. Technology is the future and I do not wish to be a user, but I want to become a creator. It is something I can imagine in that in the technology sector, there is so much potential and new action and I want to be part of it.
With the knowledge of advanced technology, might be employed in resolving practical problems and who knows I might come up with something that will make life easier to other earthlings. In addition, it is entertaining to be aware of how things are worked out on the back stage. I am also keen on plunging into it and growing.
What's that something you're grateful for and why?
The one thing I am actually thankful of and this may sound cheesy but I am thankful to be alive the opportunity to wake up everyday and see everything that we have to offer in this world. This is something that I can always assume but when I stop and think of it I know how valuable time is. I am thankful about the simple things, I have the air that I breathe, I am healthy, I have people that I love, I even appreciate good things that are learned when the going gets rough.
There is a new day to learn, love and create stories every day. Regardless as to how challenging life may be, I get a sense of hope just by being alive. Not everyone is so lucky to keep such a gift and this is the reason why I am trying to appreciate it and live with gratitude in my heart.
What's the favorite memory you have of yourself?
When I first moved out of my comfort zone and I actually felt my strength is one of my favorite memories about myself. I recall that I was anxious, confused yet deep down in me, there was a voice whispering to make the jump. Gradually it did not matter whether I was speaking in public or whether I was going it alone whether I was making a bold decision or not, I did it.
This experience showed me that I can do more than I believe and whenever I recollect the moment I get proud. The fear is momentary but growth never. I always felt motivated to continue moving on, as I always believed in my path because of that memory.
Thanks for reading my post I'm inviting @chant, @simonisai15 and @vickmoon to participate in this contest.
