Created on canva.
Greetings friends.
This is Shaikh Enamul Islam.
From #Bangladesh.
Greetings dear friends. Hope everyone is very well and healthy by the grace of Almighty Allah. Alhamdulillah, I am fine too. Today I am going to participate in the Steem4Nigeria community's contest and their topic for this week is My country; My Home. This contest is really amazing and I am eager to participate. I am very happy that I could share with you all about my country and my home and hope you all enjoy reading my post. So without delay let's start.
Our country Bangladesh is the beloved motherland which three million people had to be martyred in 1971 to achieve and in return we got independent Bangladesh. And so this Bangladesh is very close and respectable to me.In exchange for the blood of so many martyrs, we get our mother tongue Bangla and we get a free country Bangladesh.
From the Language Movement of the 1952 to the independence movement of 1971, the people of Bangladesh have been oppressed numerous times by the power of independence. The mother lost her child, the child lost her parents. Women lost their honor, lost many intellectuals. We have received this golden Bangladesh in exchange for their sacrifice, so every moment we pay our respects to them and we are grateful to them.
Bangladesh is my beloved homeland and Bangladesh is unique to me for many reasons and some of them are:
Riverine countries:
As the number of rivers in Bangladesh is very high, Bangladesh is called a riverine country. Currently there are more than 700 rivers and all these rivers reveal the unique beauty of Bangladesh and therefore the rivers makes Bangladesh unique. Many people are employed in this river. Fishermen go to the river to catch fish in the boat in the morning with their nets. These rivers play a special role in the import and export of goods within the country and people travel to different places through these rivers and enjoy the sight view. This river covers a large part of the beauty of Bangladesh and therefore the rivers is unique to Bangladesh.
Full of tourist places:
Bangladesh has numerous sightseeing places for which people from different countries come to visit Bangladesh every year. Some of the notable sightseeing places in Bangladesh are: St. Martin, Cox's Bazar, Sundarbans, Sajek, Ratargul, Nijhum Island, Tanguar Haor, Kuakata etc. Every tourist place has its own difference and the beauty of all these places attracts people.
Traditional Food and Culture:
Bangladesh is a country rich in traditional food and culture. Every district of Bangladesh has traditional food that makes the place well known and for which we call those places famous by the name of the food. Besides, our country is unique for cultural festivals. People celebrate their own religious festivals and Bengali cultural festivals with great joy.
The answer to this question may vary from person to person and if I share my personal opinion I would never think of leaving my own country and my family just for better opportunities. I think my country is the ideal place for me because there are all kinds of facilities and here I can move freely. And Bangladesh has the environment that people want to enjoy. I think the natural beauty here beats the beauty of other countries.
This Bangladesh full of plants gives us pure and cool air which calms our body and mind. Besides, it will be difficult for me to leave my family, friends, relatives with whom I grew up. Sometimes good opportunities are neglected for the sake of one's homeland and family. So it would be impossible for me to settle in another country for better opportunities.
Every country is constantly developing, but if it does not go according to the right plan, at some point the people of the country will suffer. I think it is important to develop more in some aspects of our country and among them it is important to build planned paved roads, improve the quality of education, reduce poverty and develop more in medical services.
I think it is important to develop these sectors. In our country, people are constantly suffering due to lack of unplanned roads and paved roads, especially in our capital city, Dhaka, we have to face a lot of traffic jams. Besides, we need to increase the quality and facilities of education in our country so that every student can complete his education and be educated in technical education. Due to the lack of technical education, the number of unemployment in our country is constantly increasing, so the importance of improving the quality of education must be kept.
And most of the people of Bangladesh always cross the poverty line and therefore lag behind in the development of our country. Therefore, for the development of the country, we must eliminate poverty first. And in our medical field, people are constantly dying due to lack of proper treatment and affordable medical care. Therefore, it is necessary to provide proper medical care to all the people who are working hard for the development of the country and therefore there is a need for development in the field of medicine as well. Besides, there is a need for development in other areas which help our country to become more prosperous in the world.
Thanks to my all dear friends for visiting my blog . I hope everyone enjoyed my blog. Before finished my publication I would like to invite my friends @solaymann @waterjoe , @willmer1988, @msharif, @ripon0630 & @goodybest for this nice contest .
I really enjoyed your post. It is true that one district of Bangladesh is famous for one food. Every district is famous for some food such as Natore's Cachagolla, Bogra's Dai, Old Dhaka's Biryani. Also, as Bangladesh is a riverine country, the beauty of the river in this country is a wonderful sight. I don't know that any country in the world has so many rivers. But I am very sorry to see the living conditions of the fishermen who live on the banks of the river. I want their lives to improve. Thank you very much for presenting Bangladesh in such a beautiful way. And yes it is not possible for any of us to leave this country and settle in another country.
Brother I agree with you. Thank you so much for your beautiful words. 🙂
Thanks🫡

Hi brother!
An excellent publication from your side. I have read your publication. Yes , history of Bangladesh independence is not easy to explain. Nine months bloody war.
Being a pakistani I can say Bangladesh was our part and unfortunately we have lost our part. But we are happy now that our brothers are now living as independent life. Yes , it's on the path of progress. Wish you good luck and more power to your country.
