What is the name of your country? How many languages can be found in your country?

The name of my beloved country is Bangladesh. I am fortunate to be a Bangladeshi.Bengali is the only mother tongue of our Bangladesh. In 1971, we got independent Bangladesh and mother tongue Bengali in exchange for the blood of 30 lakh martyrs.

So our people of Bangladesh love to express their thoughts in this one language. But we have also chosen English language as our 2nd language because it is the national language and through this language we use it for communication and other purposes with people of other countries.Like today I made this article in English for my other steem friends so they can easily read my post.

We mostly use our Bengali language because we can express our thoughts very well in it. People of our 64 districts have different accent and style of speaking Bengali. Because they were raised that way. So even if we read its Bengali text in the book in the same way, when we speak each other's regional language, our Bengali pronunciation is spoken regionally.

Among the listed languages in your country, how many are you familiar with?

I mentioned above that we have a major language movement here which is our mother tongue Bengali. But in our professional field we prefer other languages ​​and among them we use English as our 2nd language. Besides, I have seen that people of our country learn languages ​​of other countries such as Japan, Korean etc. in the field of professional.

Of course we need to learn different languages ​​if not at least learn English language so that we can communicate easily with each other. So I try to learn English language along with my Bengali language so that I can use it in communication and my professional work.

How has this language improved/helped your life and business?

Apart from learning the mother tongue of my country, I will always say another language at least for English language. Since it is an international language, we can communicate with others through this language in any country However, I would like to give the importance of this through a true example that I recently saw in Bangladesh . A girl who is a traveler and she has come to Bangladesh from China and her biggest mistake is that she can't speak any language other than mother tongue of her own country even minimum English.

One of our Bangladeshi bloggers tried to communicate with him in English but he could not say anything. He speaks only his own mother tongue. Although nowadays we take help through Google translation, the problem of not knowing this language will never leave us behind. So there is a need to learn other languages ​​besides own language.

Yes, I will definitely advise and teach my future family members to learn other languages ​​besides their mother tongue. Technology is improving and the distance between the people of one country and the people of another country is beginning to decrease. We are in constant contact with people from other countries. Then there should be no language gap for communication between us, so we must learn another country's language or international language.
