Contest Alert: "School na scam" (Going to school is a waste of time and resources)|| My View
INTRODUCTION
Going to School is a Waste of Time and Resources
Firstly, schools take up a significant amount of time in a child’s life. Each day, a student must attend classes, do homework, and study for exams. This takes up a large portion of their day, and the amount of time they have left for leisure activities is greatly reduced. In addition, parents must also invest a great deal of time in helping their children with their studies. This time could be better spent on activities that would be more beneficial to the child’s development, such as sports or music.
Secondly, schools require a great deal of financial resources. From school fees to textbooks and supplies, the costs associated with schooling can be quite high. This cost is not only felt by parents, but also by the government, who must pay for teachers, buildings and other school-related expenses. This money could be better spent on other more important services, such as healthcare or infrastructure.
Additionally, there are many people who succeed despite not finishing school, people like Albert Einstein, Walt Disney, Thomas Edison and so on. You may simply learn today without going to school online.
There are many alternatives to going to school, such as apprenticeships, independent study, training, and more.
Finally, schools often fail to adequately prepare students for the real world. The focus is often on memorizing facts and passing exams, rather than on developing the skills necessary to succeed in life. This means that many students are not adequately prepared for the challenges they will face in the workplace.
CONCLUSION
School is a waste of time and resources. It takes up a large portion of a child’s day and requires a great deal of financial resources. Additionally, schools often fail to adequately prepare students for life after graduation. For these reasons, school should not be seen as an essential part of a child’s development, but rather as an optional activity that is only beneficial if used appropriately.
