Lets show how creative you are: drawing - frog

Always a pleasure to be here in this wonderful community steem4nigeria. As always my name is @emmaboy23 and with much joy and excitement, i have come to partake in this contest once again. I Iove drawing and drawing is something that helps me take my mind off stress and as a hobby and a recreational activity I found it fitting to participate in this contest organized by our very esteemed @benton3 and today we shall be drawing a frog.

Have you ever seen one before

Frog can be generally found in lakes, ponds, pools, ditches, and tanks. They are amphibian which means they live both in land and water and may hunt prey in the land. Like all amphibian frogs spend half of their life under water, some frogs are similar to toad however a frog has smooth skin and long legs while a toad has rough skin and shorter legs. Frogs are tiny making it difficult to see one but I have seen one before, I saw this creature when I and my family went for fishing in the village and it was less than an inch (2.5 centimeters long), The largest of them all is about the size of a foot(30 centimeters long). Most frogs are green, brown, yellow, while some are brightly colored. Now that you have known some interesting facts about frogs, let's look into the drawing.


My drawing of the frog started by getting all my materials ready and set such as pencil, paper, crayon, eraser and sharpener

After doing that, I began the drawing by starting with Its head first.

After getting the shape of the head, I went further to draw it's eyes and the body as well.

Then i drew the legs, I started by drawing the back legs before going to draw the front legs.

I then added some details to the body after finishing the main part.

This is the step where I colored my drawing from the beginning to the end.

After doing my colouring, I then outlined my work and insert my username to make it look more bold and beautiful.
