Nigeria, a country known for its vibrant and resilient people with resources abundant in the nation has been hijacked by our government for their selfish gains. For a while now the country has been observing what I call a Nationwide protest aimed at stopping bad government and eradicating corruption and poverty in the country. The protest led by millions of Nigerian youth is a call for a change, a demand for a good government and, an end to the continuous corruption in the country.

The protest which started as a social media tweet has now been taken into action by thousands of Nigerian youth as they march into the streets, to express their frustration with the government. The protest which started on first August of this month has began to make an impact in the country as leader and governor call for a calm and retrain. However the protesters don't want just words, they want action. As the protest continues it is better for the government to hear the cries and agony of the people and take concrete steps in addressing their concerns.

The recent protest in Nigeria is not just a reaction to the current government but also a cumulation of neglect and the high cost of living in the country. Nigerian are hungry, frustrated and don't know what to do as the price of things in the market keeps on increasing day by day, this protest was planned to make the government see the hardship they make Nigerian pass through everyday. It is sad to see how Nigerian are suffering every day by day to just make a living and at the end of the day there is nothing to go home with. This protest is a wake up call for the government and the people in higher office to take accountability, make a good government and transparency in the country, the government must take action and take steps to address the concern of Nigerian before it escalates to a more serious issue.

The future of the country hangs in the balance, it is up to the government and the people to make this country a better place. The recent protest is a call to action a reminder that change is never impossible and that the people will no longer accept corruption in the country. The government must listen to the peoples demand and take action necessary because the future of the country depends on it.

Stay safe and remain blessed
