My Neighborhood Watch #95 - Reporting Events Around us
In our area, mornings are usually full of busy activities. People rushing to work, traders setting up, school kids heading to class everything just moving so fast to meet up each of their time. That morning started off normal as usual, but what happened later was something nobody can ever expected.

On my way to work,the sky was so cloudy and about to rain. I didnt mine the weather,I was heading to work, suddenly rain started pouring down heavily. It was a very serious rain fall, the type that will surely makes you run as fast as you can for a cover because, in seconds, everywhere is flooded. I quickly ran into a shop to wait for it to stop. However After I waited about 30 minutes, the rain finally slowed down then stopped and I continued my journey.
As I was walking, I saw something shocking. A small truck, the kind normally used to carry cement or pure water, was being used as a school bus. Inside, children were packed and heading to school. Though the truck was covered but the top wasn't covered, so something terrible happened.
The children inside was playing, not knowing the danger ahead. Suddenly, on of them lost balance and fell out of the moving truck. Before anyone could react, shouts filled up the air! The driver, shocked by the commotion with full of panicked. His hands slipped from the steering wheel, and in the confusion, the truck lost control. Before long, it toppled over in a serious accident on the road, we thank God he wasn't on speed.

People immediately rushed to help. There was fear in the air everyone hoping the children were safe. Luckily, no one was badly hurt. Some had small bruises, including the driver, but nothing too serious. The little girl who fell was taken to a nearby chemist for treatment.

The driver was heavily blamed for using such a truck to carry school children. Yes, the truck was covered and looked safe, but it was never meant for people, especially small kids. That day taught everyone in the area an important lesson: safety first!
We understand that in Nigeria, people find ways to manage with what they have. But sometimes, managing can bring serious risks. What if this accident had been worse? No one wants to imagine that. Parents, school owners, and drivers must think twice before using certain vehicles to transport children. Their lives are too precious to gamble with.
We thank God that no lives were lost. And I believe that this accident will be a strong warning that safety must never be ignored.

Accident now adays is shocking, some the manners drivers are the handling steering is as if they are God that knows what will happen.
It is painful that a times innocent soul do involved and I thank God no live was lost.
That was unbelievable. Anyway, good to know injuries sustained were minimal.
