Greetings to all Steemians, I am here again, as usual, to write in Steem4Nigeria with the Contest - my belief about CS Please feel free to go through my entry. Thank you.

How do you explain CS to a layman understanding?

CS (Cesarean Section) Is a surgery done on a pregnant woman to deliver through her abdomen and uterus. This is usually done to pregnant women whose vaginal are not capable of making her deliver safely.

How I will explain CS to a layman is, CS which is also known by a layman as Operation Is an act whereby a woman delivers a baby through surgery.

In some cases, it is due to health challenges either from the mother or baby that will make a woman deliver through CS, e.g. when the baby is not in a good position in her mother's womb, this can make the mother deliver the baby through CS. Again, if a mother has a problem with her placenta, this can also make the mother deliver through CS. ETC

Do you think CS should be a choice /right or as the situation demands?

I don't think CS should be a choice but rather the doctor's choice, a doctor should be able to recommend CS to a woman during her delivery due to her inability to deliver her baby by herself as a result of health challenges on the mother.

Some women prefer to deliver their babies through CS even when they are fit to deliver the baby by themselves but before that decision, try to see the doctor because in this case, the doctor normally used to health educate them on the risks attached to their decision of them preferred to deliver their babies through CS even as they are fit and healthy to deliver by themselves.

My advice to all women, it is very wrong for a woman to willingly decide for herself the choice of giving birth through CS. Always allow your doctor to recommend the method to deliver your baby.

Yes, there is a belief about women who give birth through CS in my country (Nigeria) in Nigeria, we believe that any woman who gives birth through CS is not healthy enough to deliver her baby and this is to say she has health challenges that hindered her from delivery her baby by herself.

What is your advice to that person who is refusing this process because of what people will say?

My advice to any person who will refuse this process of CS is that in as much is because of the health condition that will require her to go through this process, I will advise that she should go ahead and pray to God for successful delivery without minding what people will say.

Again, my advice to a woman who wishes to willingly go through this process is that the person should make sure that she goes to see her doctor so that the doctor will advise and also tell the person about the risks involved in the process.

Will you support your sister, or wife to Choose CS in case of any emergency during childbirth? Or you allow her to wait until the due time?

Yes, I will support my sister, wife, and any woman to choose CS in case of any emergency because every emergency problem needs to be solved with immediate effect to avoid the occurrence of bad results.
