My Neighborhood Watch #79 - Reporting Events Around Us

Hello Steemians, it's your girl @echuku, I believe you are all doing fine.

I am so delighted to participate in this beautiful contest in the Steem4Nigeria Community which talked about those life events/Activities happening in your neighborhood by @xkool24, thank you so much sir for always organizing amazing contests in this noble community. It is my pleasure to drop my entry and I do hope that you all will enjoy my post.

Tell us about those life events/Activities happening in your neighborhood.

The life event/Activity that happened in my neighborhood was a birthday ceremony.

I woke up this morning and started my domestic work, bath, and dressed up for work, so when I went out of my house, I decided to enter my neighbor's house to check up on them, they were all at home.

My neighbor is married with four children, three boys and a girl.

I am so close with my neighbor's second baby, she is my name younger sister's namesake because her name is Grace, I love her so much, so I saw her and decided to start playing with her as usual and her mother told me that today is her birthday, she is twelve years of age today being 16th December 2024.

When the mother told me of the birthday celebration, I felt so happy for her and I felt like I should stay and witness the birthday celebration coupled with the fact that she is my sister's namesake, I knew that the celebration would be a colorful one, my neighbor is a type of man that doesn't use to joke with any affairs that concern his family, he normally celebrates his wife and children birthday in beautiful ways.

I felt bad about the fact that I won't be present to witness the celebration, we both are good neighbors to each other, I don't know how you feel about it, but, I felt so amazed about it, coupled with the fact that she is a little princess but then I was able to celebrate her in my little way even though I know that it is nothing compared to my presence.

Finally, I also want to use this opportunity to wish my sister's namesake a happy birthday celebration.
