My Neighborhood Watch #36 Reporting events around us

Good day everyone, I am happy to share events happening in my neighborhood in recent days. Much appreciation goes to the contest organiser @xkool24 for bringing up this contest topic.

The economy of my state is really getting out of hand, we the citizens finds it so hard to live a good standard of living. Things are extremely costly for we the low income earners, I think this is a period of inflation where the price level of goods and services are very high and unbearable for the citizens.

Around last year ending fuel price increase because of the rumors of fuel subsidy increment by the president, things at that moment changed including the price of goods and services. We all agreed that fuel is the main factor that moves vehicle which are used to transport those goods and services.

I will be sharing mostly the effects of the fuel price increment by the government. Before now the transportation cost wasn't really high for transporters to move goods and services to directed location, the price of those goods and services weren't high at that moment for we the consumers.
Eventually everything went high when the price for fuel increased from #140 to #750, it came in as a thief in the night. I was very shocked and sad because the cost of transporting myself to school with erupt, so the next morning the cost of moving from my place to school went from 300 to 800.

This happening is a great disadvantages to the less privileged because thier level of standard of living at this stage will be very low. Before now people were not still satisfied with the price level of goods and services, that's when the price of fuel was about #140. We are all speechless at this moment food stuffs prices increasing so high.

Most drivers find it so hard to meet up with fuel purchase expenses, the income derived from the expenses of fuel is extremely low making drivers to act rude to people bargaining much price with them.

Most motor parks are now empty drivers switched to another means of job. At this moment most people will say the world is coming to an end🥺. There are certain questions the citizens are asking the government in power,
Why increase fuel price?
Are we coming out of this very soon?

This event has really caused a downfall in the economic sector, I believe the government will do something about this level of inflation.

Thank you for going through my post❣️

It's really terrible the way transportation fare has risen. It's not only you who have noticed that, I've also witnessed this. Many people have said many things as per what is happening in our nation.

We just hope God will show us mercy. Kudos!

The price of fuel and other stuffs are quite high now and everybody is affected. I pray God comes to our aid.
