My Steemit Name Is @david-o.

Another wonderful contest organized by @goodybest, our name on the steemit platform is how we are identified which is why two users cannot use same username.

Even in the real world and not just on the steemit platform our name is our personal detail and distinguish us from the rest, trying to find a person in the midst of hundreds of people all you need is the persons name because going round to look at all their faces can be quite stressful, all you do is call out to the person same thing on the steemit platform if you want to carry out a transaction with a user all you need is the person's name.

If we are famous with the Nigerian music industry we must have heard of Davido whose real name is David as well, I am also David by name but friends call me Davido which made me like him and the name.

When I wanted to create my steemit account I wanted to use the name exactly the way it is but I came to realize that someone else had already used the name and it pained my heart but all the same I added a dash before the o, it can still be pronounced as Davido.

A huge fan of David Adeleke (Davido), I will love to say my steemit username is dedicated to him tho he won't even notice it but I still did it. I just love the name and it makes me happy each time I am called by the name.

I am more than satisfied with my name, it is my identity on the platform and I just like the feeling each time I get a notification that someone mentioned me. The name alone gives me butterflies in my belly which shows how satisfied I am with the name.

Deep down I still want my name to look exactly like that of Davido but since it's not possible I don't want to change my name to any other, so even if given the chance I still won't change my name for any reason.

In conclusion, I really do love my steemit name and I hope everyone loves theirs as well cause if you don't you can't change it that means the name is stuck with you forever, for as long as you are on the steemit platform you will be called by it.
