Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 40: My Worst High School Experience.
Hello world!
I am so delighted to to be part of this wonderful platform, I really appreciate your present on my blog, thanks for your time and opportunity to read through my post, I humbly urge that you stay relaxed as you read through to the last point.
Give us a brief introduction of your school, its name, location, and why it stands out in your location.
The name of my high school is Government Secondary School Akwanga, Nasarawa state, Nigeria. It is the only government school in my town till date, there was serious teaching by the teachers because the principal never allow the teachers to seat and relax without teaching the student so I can say that the school was a wonderful one and I enjoy every bit of the school.
We have different clans in my town, according to stories told, the government announced to establish a government secondary school at Alushi land but it was not funny that Wakama people were against it so for that reason of fight, the government decided to establish and build at the center of the whole land.
Share with us your worst high school experience.
It was worst and terrible because of the kind of class mate I had during my high school days. I happened to be the best student in my set which resulted to hatred especially from my co-girls. I tried my possible best to avoid them because they are looking for necessary ways to bring me down.
I couldn't keep it to myself so I decided to share with my mummy because it has been so heavy in my heart that I am not loved by people I love and have in mind. My mother followed me to the school to tell the principal to warn every student who is never happy with her daughter(myself) to stay away from my path.
I never knew telling my mother about it will worsen the situation and add up to the hatred because some of my classmates became more angry with me and begin to call me mother's daughter. I was feeling more bad but I kept praying to God for the grace to be used to them and that was how I was able to graduate and I got admission into University that same year which some of them became more angry.
Was there any lesson learned, kindly share with us.
Yes! I have learned a lot because we were more than 200 students in our sets so imagining meeting different kinds of people from different parts of the state coming together to learn under one shade, knowing each other will of course be very easy.
I learned to accommodate every character because it is always going to lead to fight if care is not taken. I have learned to be accomodative, to be focused and not distracted by anything at all, friends will always come to cause distraction. I learned to be so careful with every word that comes from my mouth and as well be myself at all cost.
Thank you my dear friends for reading through to this point, I invite my friends to join the contestthank you...
