Contest: Photo Speaks | Create a short Story with owned Pictures in your Gallery by @dave-hanny
Hi guys, I am @dave-hanny, so excited to be a partaker in this great and creative contest. It is beautiful to have amazing fellow steemians on my blog to read from my articles and I am always ready to give out the best for my friends so be relaxed and keep reading to the endpoint as I write short stories from my gallery.
My sign-out day.
@dave-hanny was so fortunate enough to be one of the graduating students of Nasarawa state university keffi on the 12th of July, 2021 set despite the strikes and some obstacles but I scale through the journey of studies at the level of the degree holder. I felt heavenly and happy because we came into the campus with many and some died on their way home or coming back to school but I have been safe although my 7years journey in the school.
12th of July marked my final paper examination and that was in the morning by 8 am. One funny thing that happened that day was, the rain started at around 4 am and at that time, I was awake reading, I finished reading at exactly 5: 20 am but was still raining, I took my bath dressed and started making up my face it was still raining and the time was already 7: 19 am. I had no umbrella and the time was fast moving the rain kept falling. The funniest was that there is a bridge before the school premises and its a short cut to the school. So I called a friend of mine and asked if he had an umbrella he said yes and that was how we moved together and followed the school gate instead of the short cut that might not take up to 4 minutes. Finally, the exams were successful and we took some pictures very excited.
NYSC
The above acronym simply means national youth service corps. Every graduate is entitle to serve his or her country and in Nigeria, it is observed. After my sign-out or last examination, the next thing was processes for service which includes results because when you get to the camp the first thing is the evidence of your years in school which is your result or certificate of studies.
I camped in Imo state for three good weeks and I met so many people from different states, we engaged in discussions that will help in life and I really enjoyed my stay in camp for so many reasons which I can't mention all. In the camp, there were so many activities done both in the daytime and at night which is mostly a social show. Aervice year is so sweet because I have good people around me, people who care almost all about me and the happiest thing is that, I got to know about the steemit platform during this service year through a caring friend @ simonnwigwe.
My birthday hair
Birthdays are always celebrated every after 365 days and for that reason, there is always a special preparation for that day. I am not a fan of celebrating birthdays at all but an incident made me see a reason to celebrate this year. On a monday morning, on my way to work, I had a terrible accident and I was rushed unconscious to the hospital. People taught I was already gone but God saved me.
I woke up unconscious, I never knew what happened until I saw my left check patched but thank God I became strong after two weeks. I saw the need to celebrate this year's birthday and to make it more beautiful, I made fine hair and my favorite hairstyle which is the one on my head in the picture above, I went to the studio to snap pictures and post them On social media to thank God for the special breath of life. I celebrated my birthday at home in Nasarwa State with my beloved siblings and parent. I rounded up in church with Thanks giving which is the best gift ever you can give to God.
Thank you all for reading through my post to this point, I invite @yakspeace, @josantos, and simonnwigwe to participate In this contest.
