What I believed to later discover they aren't true.

Greetings friends, hope we are all doing great. I wish to give my contribution to the contest in response to the outlined questions below, thanks for patiently going through.

Really I have confided in so many things and credulously held many others in an irrationally high esteem but most of them has turned to be a mere and common orgaden creed that has turned to be a pure falacy. nevertheless, I will be jotting down a few of it through my article today, hope you'll enjoy it.

First creed

Most times, I laugh at myself when i remember certain of these things that is maint for babies to believe. I could remember during my tender days when i curiously asked my grand Ma whom I was staying with in the village how someone left earth to live in the moon, smiles though then I was very curios to know certain things as kept gazing on the moon to know if the person was really a human being.

Nevertheless, I pressurized her till she wooed me to believe that there was a time during the reign of Chukwu Abioma (God almighty) when no one engages in any personal work on Sundays, so there was this man that repugnated by going to farm with his pic ass to cut some firewood while he was still in the bush, God Almighty then caught him up and pegged him in the moon where he could not move any longer.
This was how I came to believe that someone is in the moonlight.

On my own, I don't believe that God Almighty (Chukwu Abioma) captivated someone in the moonlight despite the intensity of his action and justification for such believe, moreso the moon is too big for a human image to be noticed there.

Second creed

While I was also tender, I used to observe people's nails with some spots of white-like painted nails and then I use to admire them greatly, so there are also these white swam birds that normally pertch around the River area. When I got so curious in knowing the cause of the white spots on people's finger nails, I was also illusioned to believe that any time you see those white river/sea eagles and you sing to them, your finger nails will be spotted white automatically.

Nonetheless, whenever I spot these birds flying, I'll keep singing the song I was taught to sing for them (the birds) and the song is translated this way (Shekeleke give me white nails and take the black one) and I'll keep repeating this song till the birds get out of sight. finally after singing, my nails still remains the same but it was later that I came to observe that I have been tricked with such believe and never will I get a white finger for singing to those birds smiles.

Third creed

There is also this believe that I was forced to believe on my own as no one was responsible for it. While I was tender, whenever we are travelling, I normally observe the bush and trees along the road running and when I come down from the car, they will all stop their motion.
Finally, I kept this thought to myself and as I grew in mentality, I realized that it was just because we are on motion, as the trees and grasses aren't running while we move smiles.

People attributed to the believe and how I got to know the true picture

Yeah In the first believe, I may buy into the idea that even my grand ma holds that as truth that someone was captivated in the moonlight by Chukwu Abioma (God Almighty) but I got to know the true picture when I got in the quest to study about the 9 planets, then I realized that the moonlight is a planet on its own and moreso it is too big for one to observe a real picture from it.

The second believe of the nail spotting by the white sea birds has no trace of person whom exactly I may say that initiated the believe but I was forced to believe that as a Child. Nevertheless, I got to know the truth as nothing happened to my nails all the while I sang to those birds at spotting them.

The third believe of the running grasses and trees was just a personal creed and I believe that most uncurious kids would also be going through the same things and finally, I came to know the true picture as I grew in mentality.

My reaction after realizing the truth and the lesson I learned from them.

In all these believes, I really learned a lot especially from my grand ma's idea of the man in the moonlight. This really forced me to further for a study of the moonlight's real picture so it was then that I realized that those things might be a generational fable which was told them as they grew and hold the same mentality in high esteem.

I learned a general lesson that one can highly be impaired by his myopic and low mentality till he's exposed through learning and certain height of knowledge. Finally, I wasn't affected badly as I laid the whole believe off in my cause of growth and learning.

The possibility of believing such thing in the future

Wow! it will be a big disgrace and abasement on my person that at my height of knowledge, I will condescend to hold such creed in high esteem again. I don't think I can even listen, talk less of believing such things in the future or even now .

Conclusion

In conclusion, these things are normally real exertion and miragic display of the full force of ignorance and hence should be exercised once in a lifetime especially during tender days and not when one has come to full maturity as it will be a big clinker to hold such creed again.

Thanks for going through cheers and bye. I also invite my friends to join;
