iTeach Contest: Mobile App Features for more Productivity by @comrade01

INTRODUCTION
Good day everyone and welcome to my post.

A contest was held by @fredquantum and I will like to be a part of that contest. In the contest, we are asked to discuss the mobile app we love using, and state the reasons we prefer the particular mobile app over other apps.

What is the name of the App you choose to discuss today? Share a brief history about it.

The app I want to discuss today is an app called boomplay.

Boomplay is a music app, in which it's user can download songs , stream songs, listen to songs e.t.c, and it can be downloaded in Google play store, having a rate of 4.5 stars.

According to Wikipedia,

Boomplay or Boomplay Music is a media streaming and download service developed by Transsnet Music Limited.[2] The service was first launched in Nigeria in 2015 by TECNO Mobile, Transsion Holdings. Boomplay has a freemium and subscription based service; basic features are free with advertisements or limitations, while additional features, such as download for offline play and ad-free listening are offered via paid subscriptions.[3] The service is currently available for Web via www.boomplay.com, Android and iOS use. As of August 3, 2018, Boomplay Music recorded 10 million installations off the Google Play and App store.[4] It currently has over 70 million monthly users (MAU) with a catalogue of over 85 million songs.source

This above is from Wikipedia.. I don't really know very much about the history of boomplay, so I had to consult Wikipedia

What feature(s) do you choose to discuss in the App? Show the detailed steps on how the App can be used based on the feature.

Boomplay has variety of features, but the ones I will like to talk about in this post is the boompoints, gaming feature and the boom mall, yes, boomplay has an inbuilt online mall.

Let's start with the boompoints

Boomplay has an in-app purchase features, and it makes purchase easier and cheaper for it's users by creating a currency called boompoints.

Boom points can be earned through different means, a user can do diverse task on the app in other to earn boom points.
Below is a step by step guide on how to earn boompoints by performing tasks:

Speaking of the gaming feature,

Boomplay has made it fun for users to always run the app by providing different types of games in which users can play and earn boom points. These points can later be used in collision with fiat money to purchase desired commodity from the boom mall.

Have you compared this feature with other Apps in the same category before? Which one and what distinguishes both? (ease of accessibility, additional features, etc).

I've compared boomplay with Deezer, and one differences I note is that, irrespective of the fact hat Deezer is a nice app, it doesn't have as much features that boomplay has. Boomplay has a loophole of not bringing out lyrics while the song is playing, no cap, but Deezer in the other hand is not as fun and interacting as boomplay.. i forgot to mention, boomplay also has an inbuilt social media (but I don't use that because I don't really do social media much).
To be honest, I really prefer boomplay to other music players based on this reasons stated.
