How well can someone discover his/her calling?

Permit me to say that this topic "My Calling" is more than just a contest if we can carefully examine it to the point of actualization. There are somany participant here that might respond to this topic perhaps excellently but are yet to discover there real calling but I pray that this contest will open you up to clearly discover your calling.

There's no fulfilment without discovering your God ordained calling in life which is your purpose for living. It is very important to know that there is difference between once calling and job; don't mistake your calling for job.

Now to answer the question proper, having known that job is not calling; don't settle for job because you are being paid for services rendered and instead of digging to discover your calling.

To discover your calling, find out first what you are very good at doing that you believe strongly in your heart that by doing so you can make a difference in the world and not just that but that you feel fulfilled at doing such; the outcome notwithstanding.

Also God the creator has the ultimate knowledge of all callings and can help us to discover same like no other if we maintain a good relationship with Him. He knows you and knows why you are here on Earth.

Do you think some people have multiple calling in life than others ?

A big yes! Even our fingers are not equal. Permit me to paraphrase from the Holy Book that said "He give men according to their certain abilities".
Some may not have the capacity to handle more than one effectively while some may handle even three or more effectively.

Some may have multiple calling but may not discover all, they may discover just one.

Have you discovered your calling?

Yes of course. I got my calling right from when I was 5 or 6 years there about. I discovered my calling at early age with clarity, and I am on it currently.

Do you think people are more successful when they discover their calling?

Yes of course! No matter how successful you may think you are, can not be compared with when you really discover your calling. As a matter of fact without fulfilment success has no potency and it is only your calling that can offer you such satisfaction.

It is quite unfortunate to know that many people are not in their primary calling, they are just swayed by jobs which are not even near their calling. They are call to be Engineers but after studies they end up as bankers or business men because of may be lack of courage to keep pursuing or they giving up syndrome as a result of lack of support or believing in oneself.

It is only your calling that can allow you the privilege of using your God's giving potentials, unique abilities or gifts 100% in other to make a difference in the world.

Being on a paycheck job rather than your calling can be frustrating and which may limit your potentials.

What are your fears about your calling?

My fears are just simple, I don't want to fail even a bit in my area of calling. I want to fulfill 100% in this life. My calling is very big and requires a lot of sacrifices which normally are not convenient at all, but I trust God to make it a reality anyway.
