Hello friends and welcome to my blog for today. I hope all is really working out fine, and I think you all are enjoying your Sunday. Today I will like to be taking part in this awesome contest, which brings us to the latest comment everyone in our country has been making due to the less availability of jobs and employment for the youth and scholars, but we all know that if everyone of us went to school and knew what we went to school for, we would not just depend on getting a job from the government but would look for ways in all dimensions so as to build our own business and have many others employed.

My thoughts and perspective on this statement

I can really say that this statement is never true, and I also have all the facts to prove it. No matter how bad the situation might be, we should always strive to be educated. School is never a scam, because without school, none of us will be able to do business with other neighboring countries; without education, there will be no room for development, and the country will always remain dormant and nothing will change.

Without education, I don't think it will be possible for doctors to save the lives of patients in the hospital, because it is through education that they have known the major parts of the body and also how to treat them. Without education, we will find it hard to save up our modern means of saving money; we will always follow the old means, which will bring about the loss of much money. Without education, there will be nothing like crypto or reading and writing; we will all remain illiterates, who will always suffer. Never live a good life.

With all this, you can see that education is the major thing we need in life to live. Without education, I don't think life would have been easy for us. Without education, there will be nothing like the coming of technology, which means that we will keep working and doing things the hard way. We will be tracking from one country to another with our feet, and there will be nothing like good houses, good roads, and also good foods.

Do you think this message is valid or misleading?

I think this message is totally misleading; it can only take you to eternal suffering and being alone when you gather with those who are educated. That's why it is advisable to at least make sure to acquire a secondary education, because with it you can equally read and write and also speak good English in public. I think anyone who is seen making this statement should be immediately arrested by the government because it is meant to encourage the young that education can lead them nowhere.

Yes, I just have a little story to share with you so that people can get the idea that this statement is totally misleading. This is the story my dad told me.

There was a man in my village during the time the white men came to our region here in Nigeria. The white men started teaching everyone in our village the way of God and also how to speak good English. Every parent wanted their children to learn English, but this man never wanted his children to learn how to speak English nor have a good education.

As time went on, almost every kid in the village had learned to speak English, so the white men offered those who knew how to speak English and those who had acquired education a good job because they started building factories and industries here in my village, like a palm oil producing factory. Now that those who had been educated and knew how to speak English have been offered a new job and are being paid very well, the man started to regret why he had not allowed his children to learn English and to acquire education. His family was poor and uneducated.

If you are in support of this statement, what would be your alternative to schooling? Or if not, what would you advise?

Schooling is really the best thing each and everyone of us must fight hard to acquire, even if after schooling there is no job in the country. The main reason is because knowledge is a waste; we should strive to be literate and not illiterate.

• My advice to those that are confused with this statement is:

• You should never be confused by what people say about a particular thing; we should always do things according to the way our hearts wish.

• We should not only depend on getting a white collar job after school; we can equally become creative and create more employment opportunities for as many people as we can.

• While we should strive hard to have degrees that are really scarce in the country, we should not always graduate with the same degree, just like the others who have been complaining of no job after schooling.

• Parents should try all their best to provide at least the secondary level of education to their kids, because this will enable the kids to defend themselves when in public with other kids.
