Lets see how creative you are :- drawing - flamingo

Wonderful day to you all all in this amazing community. I'm participating in this contest hosted and organised by @benton3 in which my aim is to draw a flamingo. In this post I'm going to show you all the steps I took to accomplish the drawing. I'm also going to tell you about the characteristics of a flamingo and how it benefits man today.

Now to begin I am going to share with you all the materials I used to accomplish this artwork

The materials I used are as below 👇
1 A plain sheet of paper
2 A pencil
3 An eraser
4 A crayon pencil

So lets begin
Step 1
I began my drawing from the head. I drew the contents of it's head like it's eyes and mouth as you can see below 👇

Step 2
After drawing it's head my next focus was it's neck. It's neck was curved so I did justice to that even though the scene of the neck looked funny as seen below 👇

Step 3
My next focus after it's neck was it's wings so I drew the wings the best I could have imagined and this was the outcome 👇

Step 4
After drawing it's wings. I focused on it's feet. I made one of the legs not to touch the ground then the other leg touched the ground at the end this was the result 👇

Step 5
After the drawing of the flamingo my next focus was it's colour. Since flamingoes are usually pink I had no choice but to apply the colour on the drawing with the crayon pencil. And this was the overall result 👇

Facts about flamingo

I know flamingoes are tall birds with long necks, short necks and pink feathers. It mostly looks like an ostrich. It has a slender body and long legs. Flamingoes mostly eat animals that live in shallow waters like shrimps and other tiny crustaceans while doing this the place their head upside down. Flamingoes mostly lives in shallow waters or river areas

Benefits to humans

Flamingoes bring a lot of benefits to humans but I'll mention a few :
1: flamingoes help in controlling the population of algaes and small invertebrates. They also serve as food source to predators in this way the help maintain and balance the ecosystem.

2: Flamingoes are mostly known for their tourist attraction in this way the help indirectly to generate revenue for the country.

3: Flamingoes may serve as a source of inspiration to artists with their unique beauty and graceful movement.

4: Flamingoes hold symbolic and cultural meaning in the society representing grace and beauty.

In conclusion
It's an honour participating in this contest and that is why I want to express my gratitude to @benton3 for organising such an amazing contest.I hope I have met requirements of this contest.
