Good day steemians. How are you all doing.
Today I am ready to participate in this contest hosted by @benton3 . The aim of this contest is to draw a penguin. Today I am going to show you the steps you have to take to draw a penguin. Before I begin I want to appreciate @benton3 for composing such a lovely contest.

Here are the tools that I used to draw the penguin

. A sheet of paper
. Pencil
. Eraser

Let's begin the drawing

Step 1
First I took my paper and began to draw the image. When drawing I began with the head part of the penguin. I started from the upper part of the head by making a curve and then, I drew it's eyes and then it's beak.

Step 2
After preparing the head of the penguin I decided to move to it's body. To draw the body I made a long vertical oval and this was the result.

Step 3
After that I drew the penguins flippers and I drew it's backline and sideline and also made sure the sideline curved according to the backline. This was the result.

Step 4
Finally I drew it's feet and shaded it's backline so as to make known it's sideline. This was the overall result.

Important facts about penguins
Penguins are marine flightless birds that varies depending on it's specie. Some species of penguins include:
1. Emperor penguin
2. Royal penguin
3. African penguin
4. Fairy penguin
5. King penguin
Penguins help to keep the fish population active by selecting small and bad conditioned fishes and they also help in supporting the ecosystem.

In conclusion
I have shown my participation in this contest. This has given me the opportunity to improve my drawing skills and it was very delightful to participate in this contest.
