My Neighborhood Watch #2

Hi friends, it has been a long time since I created my diary but I just have to after a while. I went out with hubby yesterday and was able to grab some events that happened. It has been ages since I went to his workplace but this, it came with a lot of unfortunate dramas.

On arriving there, it was the usual uncommon holidays and this sees that everywhere looked a little deserted. Business premises and cooperate organizations are closed due to fear of insecurity attacks. Also, vehicular movements were sparingly seen on the road.

But something funny happened despite the low vehicular movements. At the road junction close to his office, firstly, I saw a tricycle slightly colliding with a car which caused a little traffic on the road. Both drivers came down and were ranting to see who was at fault. This drama was quickly sorted out as the damage was relatively insignificant.

Not long after this was settled, we had another handful before us at the same road junction. It looked funny but that was the reality. Another tricycle was seen knocking down a passerby almost into a gutter. Unfortunately, this victim was carrying some snacks on her head for sale. Both the lady and the goods were found literally on the floor.

At this time there were human-sustained injuries but this was not grievous for any emergency. She was helped to stand up from the floor with little mouth injuries that required first aid. But her goods for sale was significantly damaged and almost condemned after hitting the floor.

She cried out and held the tricycle rider for the damages incurred and possible repayment. Other passersby gathered to know what happened and for possible resolution. This was how I got to know the exact happenings as hubby's colleague called her to help give her some cash after seeing her plight. Some monies were advanced to her charitably to about 60% while she sort out the others.

The picture of that snack was the sorting process. She was trying to see how to salvage the balance of the money given to help recoup at least the capital invested. When my hubby was done with what we had at hand, we left the office and headed home.
