Recreate crazy things you've done

‎Since I first saw this contest post, I haven't been able to stop laughing! Looking back, I realized I did a lot of incredibly wild and funny things as a child. Growing up in a Nigerian household was a whole adventure on its own.

‎Here are some of the craziest highlights from my childhood and my honest answers to the contest questions.

‎Three (Plus One!) Crazy Things I Did Growing Up

**‎1. **The Case of the "Pooping" Plastic Baby****

‎Before my parents gifted me a proper plastic doll for Christmas, I used to improvise by bundling up my sweaters and tops to make a "baby." Once the plastic baby arrived, I abandoned my clothes immediately!

‎However, my maternal instincts were a bit chaotic. I decided my new baby needed to eat like a real human. I cut open its mouth with scissors, and whenever I was eating, I would stuff food inside 😂. But there was a structural problem: the food had nowhere to go! My solution? I would dismantle the doll's legs, shake the food out of the empty leg sockets, and confidently announce to everyone that my baby was pooping! 😂

‎2. The Recycled Gum Archives

‎I had a terrible habit of chewing gum and refusing to let it go. Instead of throwing it away when the flavor died, I would chew it, stretch it out, and secretly stick it underneath the dining table or chairs.

‎Whenever I remembered it, whether the next day or days later. I would crawl under the table, harvest my vintage, dusty gum, pop it right back into my mouth, and continue chewing from where I stopped. 🙈 Looking back now, the hygiene levels were absolutely zero, but innocent me thought I was being a genius saver!

‎3. The Public "Boil" Investigation

‎During my primary school days, I had absolutely no filter. I didn't understand the concept of privacy or that certain body parts shouldn't be discussed in public.

‎It happened that my younger brother got a boil on his private part. Naturally, when I got to school, I gossiped about it to my two best friends. They flatly denied it was possible to get a boil there, so I proudly promised to show them proof! 😂

‎During break time, I marched my friends toward my brother's classroom. We met him on the stairs, and right there in the open, I demanded:

*‎"Eheeh, Chy! Show them that thing that happened to you in your private part. I told them you have a boil there and they said it's a lie!"
*‎
‎He just stared at us in utter disbelief, turned right back around, and walked away. I stood there completely baffled as to why he didn't want to show off his boil! 😂

‎4. My Lucrative Career as a Love Letter Delivery Box

‎Growing up, we lived with a very beautiful aunt. Almost every guy on our street wanted to date her. Whenever she and I walked down the street to buy house supplies, guys would whistle at her (ah, the good old days!). She would nervously ask me to look back and tell her who did it.

‎I had unique nicknames for all her suitors. If I didn't like a guy, I would report his whistle with whatever ridiculous name I had given him. Soon, these guys realized I was the gatekeeper to her heart, so they started hiring me to deliver love letters.

‎I immediately turned it into a business, charging 30 Naira per letter! If a guy owed me money, I would inflate his delivery fee or strike him from my delivery route entirely. I was a ruthless little courier! 😂

‎How Did These Make Me Feel, and Did People Like It?

‎Honestly, as a child, I didn't think much of it because I was just living in my own bubble of innocence.

‎But looking back today as an adult? I feel incredibly embarrassed, especially when I remember how I publicly tried to make my brother show his boil to my primary school friends! My brother was definitely mortified at the time, and my aunt had no idea I was running a whole black-market courier business behind her back. But today, these memories bring so much joy and laughter to my family.

‎What is One Crazy Thing I Can Do in Public Without Feeling Embarrassed?

‎I can easily kiss my husband or have him carry me in public!

‎For the "why": well, he is my husband! 🤷‍♀️ Once you are married, public displays of affection with your partner shouldn't be something to be ashamed of. It’s just pure love, and I don't mind the stares at all.

Can I Dance on the Road for $50k?
‎Absolutely! Yes!

‎For $50,000 USD (which is over 70 million Naira!), I will dance like my life depends on it. If the shyness starts creeping in, I have a perfect backup plan. I will simply tie a blindfold over my eyes so I can't see the crowd, and I will dance my way straight to the bank! 💃💵
