The SAGA: In Adamawa state Nigeria.

Something very serious has been happening in my state, Adamawa state, Nigeria. For some weeks now, we've been having a big debate to decide who will be the next governor of Adamawa state.

During the first governorship election in Adamawa state, Nigeria, which was held around early March of this year, the incumbent governor, Rt. Hon. Amadu Umaru Fintiri of the PDP was up against the APC flag bearer, Sen. Aishatu Binani.

The election was mad. Like it was a real display of political intelligence and experience. The Senator was desperate in becoming the governor of the state. She did all she could but her "cheated luck" always avoids her.

In the first election, the incumbent governor, won 13 out of the 21 LGAs in the state, while the senator won 8 LGAs. Winning all these local government wasn't a problem ooo, the main issue was the last local government area to be announced, Fufore LGA.

This would have decided the result and alternate the real thing we were seeing. The margins in most of the LGs results wasn't that much. But bringing in Fufore's "manipulated" results, the incumbent governor would've gotten 7k+ votes while the senator from the All Progressive Congress, APC, would win almost 35k+ of the votes.

This reason alone would've changed everything for the current governor. Though the results was rejected because the real results had already been uploaded in the IReV portal. At the end of the first election round in Adamawa state, the PDP governor was leading with 31k+ votes and 37k+ Adamawa indigenes who did not vote.

As a result of this, the election was inconclusive due to the fact that the margin was smaller than the number of citizens who didn't vote.

The Saturday 15th SAGA

Last week Saturday being the 15th day of March, 2023. The second part of the election was kicked off and those 37k+ people left where given the chance to go and cast their votes.

On Sunday, while votes were still being counted (collation was still going on), one certain Barrister Hudu Yunusa, who was supposed to be the REC went on to announce the election on a sheet of "idiotic" paper. Sources have it that he has been paid N2billion by the senator to announce her the winner.

Well, that was the "wrongest" (permit me to use this word) move for Barr. Hudu... He was immediately dealt with by the people who were there. Like I'm so so confused ooo. They taught we are all illiterates. With all the dignities in the state, this man still has the guts to announce fake results while collation was still going on.

Apart from that, his job with the election body has no relation of him announcing the state results.

You have to see Hudu, he was mercilessly death with. The police came through and arrested him.

Immediately after his false pronunciation, the senator just went live, giving an acceptance speech. As in how na??? Shey you guys planned everything...... But the game was well played.

The thing here is that they don't want the current governor to continue because he's not a Fulani man, and he doesn't listen to their selfish requests. There's an agenda against his administration and all efforts put against him to drop him resulted unsuccessfully.

Yesterday, just going through some random news paper only I read where the INEC headquarters demanded to see Hudu and the other officials involved in messing the electoral processes.

The collation was suspended until Hudu's case was settled.

Today, he has been sentenced 36 months imprisonment for ringing and tampering with electoral processes.

Yesterday being the 19th of April 2023
On the 19th day of April, 2023, the original owner of that seat, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was announced the winner, as governor re-elect, of the people, for the people and by the people. He has done so many good things for the state.

The roads he constructed, the bridges, the flyovers, new hospitals, schools, on-time payments of workers salaries and yearly scholarship funds for all Adamawa state indigenes school across the country. Yess!!! Before I forget, all government schools in Adamawa state are free to write WAEC and NECO. That's because of him. We are happy to have such a good hearted man in a small and developing state.
